I have been to Indonesia, Manado (North Sulawesi) in 1991. Seemed ages ago but I love the beaches and the coral reefs. I'm not much into snorkelling but at that time I managed to do a bit. Your coral reef gardens were really beautiful. I hope these corals remain as nice until today. I would have loved to see Bali as well but at that time, Manado was the the closest and the most convenient place for us. Back then, there was a direct flight from Davao City (Mindanao, Philippines) to Manado on Bouraq Airlines.

My friend went there a year ago for vacation and he had met several Filipinos who work in hotels and said that Indonesia is a great place!

It was so exciting to visit Bukittingi. I liked seeing the steep roofs and lovely looking buildings. I enjoyed going to beautiful Lake Toba. I went on a bus that stopped off at the Equator. I went to see the wild orangutans. I liked it in Indonesia. One day I would like to visit Bali and Lombok.

I been to Bali, Indonesia late early 2000 to attend an international conference on HIV and AIDS, we are one of the sponsored organizations. Sad to say we did not have the chance to tour the place because of our hectic schedule of the conference. So it was only the hotel-- the conference venue that i explored and the nearby restaurant and mall.
