Is orkut and facebook a waste of time?

You should join facebook. I am saying that because i am using it every day to chat and play on it. I don't know Orkut though. I am on facebook 1 hour every day usually, in total. I didn't want to join facebook the very first time because i thought there is no point cos there is MSN. But i joined it finally cos my friends wanted me to join it. Now i am on it every day, and i think it's fun cos there is some good apps, like poker, and online RPGs. I like it . You should join it. But be careful who you add as a friend, or whose request you accept.

joining orkut and facebook are not waste of time...
eventhough mylot has all the fetares of orkut, it is not as popular as those two sites...
so you can make many friends there....

It depends on who you're asking. I don't have the time to keep so many social networking accounts. I actually deleted my friendster because I cant maintain it. I don't have orkut or facebook accounts, even so many of my friends keep asking me to sign up. If you have the time and would like to find your old friends, i think it's a good place for you.

I don't think so. As long as you enjoy what you are doing on that site, it is not a waste of time. For me, I don't have to leave a certain thing (either a website or anything that I like) because I don't get monetary reward from them. You leave it because you are not fulfilled with what you do on that site. I mean, if it doesn't give you happiness then maybe you should leave it. But if you think it is important and you got to tag along with your friends in that site, why not?

Like here in mylot, I stay in here because I'm happy to become part of this site. It is not always about the "doughs"...it is always what your "heart" tells you.

no i don't think so, both are good to meet our friends and talk to them.sometimes we find our old friends who are difficult to find in this crowed world. talking to friends is not a waste of time. friends are one that we can not live without talking to them.

I have no idea on orkut. But one thing i know in my facebook. features of facebook really eat a lot of my time. So I'd rather use my time in mylot.
