How Much Money Would it Take to Make you Happy?  |

 Imagine that you've just won the lottery. The amount hasn't been determined. Part of the deal with this hypothetical lottery is that you get to chose the amount that you are paid out. How much would it be to make you happy?
For us, I would be perfectly happy with $100,000 dollars. The reason that I chose this amount is that it would be enough to pay off all of our debt and to buy a new car as well. We would be able to start fresh and hopefully never find ourselves in debt again.

So, I might need several hundreds of billions of dollars. Maybe about $957,000,000,000.12 I get to keep a small fraction of this amount, maybe $200,000 or so. The rest would be used for research on new propulsion systems 
Seriously, I would do this.

But I would still love to have like $500,000 since it is free to dream ...haha! I would be so happy because I will pay our debt, and we are going to have a new house and a new car. Everything is new. Hehe!

Pay off car loans and get another car for young daughter
Also pay off my mortgage and I could retire. I have been working two jobs for most of my children lives. I look forward to this day and dram of the day I can retire and know I live comfortably and travel. How I would love to travel Poland, Iceland, Cancun Mexico, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Greece would be some places.
I would also by a cabin up in the mountains so I can learn to ski

The first one on my list would be a charity that gives toys to children that are in the hospital called Jarrett's Joy Cart because the little boy that founded this charity years ago was a student in a Sunday School class that I taught when I was a teenager and he was the most thoughtful little boy that I've ever met. He was truly an inspiration to me, I only wish that he could have lived a full life because I'm sure that as his life went on he would have been able to accomplish great things. | |

The bad habits that get us in debt will follow us into our fortune. The only difference is that we think we have plenty of money. I have read about 2 cases where people won $16 million & were broke 2 years later. This day & time $100,000 is pocket change. You've got to remember that the government is going to take atleast half of it in taxes so you're down to$50,000. I don't have a lot of money, but I do have my friends & family. I'm happy to just wake up every morning. We ALL have choices in our lives. I choose to be happy every day!!! Look at MC Hammer. He earned $5 million & was filing bankruptcy a year later. He lost everything but says he's happier now than he has ever been. Then there's Brittany Spears. She earned a small fortune & it seems NOTHING makes her happy. Once you get rich, you have to watch out for people who love you just for being you & those who love you for your money!!! There's a lot more important things in life than money!!!

I think money is something you feel you have enough of or never feel you have enough of, no matter how much you have or not. | 10. kelly10 (279) | 2 months ago |  I would want enough to pay any outstanding bills/debts that I and or my boyfriend have, visit everywhere we want to go on holiday, put some into a savings account, buy all the DVD's that I want, buy a holiday home somewhere abroad, update mine and my boyfriends wardrobes, treat myself to some gadgets, treat my mum and dad to a holiday and put away enough money for a years travel to work.
For this I think I would want around £250,000. This is just a very rough guess so it maybe too much or a lot, lot more.
To be honest I would be happy with enough for just a few holidays, some savings and a few pieces to add to mine and my boyfriends wardrobe.
