3. vonmac (1654) | 3 weeks ago | Lol, It must be quite confusing odering food in America!! Would you have still paid the 5.10 if you had had the eggs and the cheese then? I wouldnt be spending money in BK anyway, always seems expensive
But at service stations here in Scotland, and maybe other parts of the UK as well, you can expect to pay about 3 quid, or 5 bucks for a small pot of boiling water and a solitary tea bag!!(plus the use of a not normally clean cup and saucer)
Next time you go to bk, take your own cheese slices with you and add them, maybe take a couple of eggs as well, lol

4. rg0205 (1718) | 3 weeks ago | That's funny but very true. When I visited the restaurant my friend works in, I was surprised to see that they charged roughly the same amount, something like 1.20-1.40 for a slice of cheese to be added to your sandwich. Then they justify it by saying it's imported and gourmet cheese. I know I wouldn't spend that much on a slice. What's so special about it anyway?

5. May2k8 (1226) | 3 weeks ago | unfortunately I've never experienced anything like this, it's called consumers trap to consume food that they serve for reasons that are less plausible. Why the price is displayed does not match the price we paid, maybe if this happened to me I'll find another place and do not want to go to that place again.

| 6. simonllabelle (62) | 3 weeks ago | It happened to me too! I was at a restaurant like you and I ordered a slice of pizza. It was 1,50$. This price was for the basic slice, with tomato sauce and cheese, but I wanted peperonis and peppers. In the extra topings, these were 90 cents and 50 cents. My meal was suppose to cost me about 2,90$ which is a very affordable price. So I got my delicous slice and then, the check. They charged me 5,00$. I went to the guy and asked him why it costed me 5$ instead of 2,90$. His anwser: what you ordered was a all-dressed pizza without (the ingredients that were'nt on my 'all-dressed' pizza). I was shocked. Just wow. I paid and never came back. As I was writing this I also remmebered that the other day, I was in Italy in a small restaurant. Me and my friend ordered to the waiter two 12$ meal. He came back and asked us if we wanted to eat a special entry. We told him that we would of course take that entry. It was enormous. 5 small fish, vegetables, like tons of vegetable, bread, fruits, like in the movies when the king eats a snack. It was some crazy thing. We didn't even finished it! So when we received the bill. My friend (who is a litlle bit easy to get mad) screamed: AZZHOLE! I looked a the bill: 54$. His special entry was only 30$. We paid, my friend was in great rage and the waiter got 50 cents, the only money we had left, for his 'services'. Yeah that time we were really tourists... But the waiter was a loser. Yeah. A big one.
