Have you ever lost a loved one> How did it feel?

It felt like a part of me was ripped out and died with them. Obviously, I wish I could have saved them and given them more time. If I could have eased their pain... but I am glad that I had told them I loved them and honoured that such grat people were such a big part of my life

it feels like loosing a root
which was really deep seated
it feels like
getting crushed under elephants foot mentall you feel disturbed
and dont know what to do what not to do
its a bizzare feeling

I have lost both my parents and a brother-in-law. I remember how shocked and saddened my sister was at the time.

I guess all of us with partners are going to experience a loss of them unless through some accident or coincidence each partner dies at the same moment. It is not a good thing to contemplate, but I guess we can only know the intensity of feelings when it happens. May it not be for a very long time! - Derek
