have you started a new discussion on myLot and never received any comment???

i think it's already happening to me right now. i posted a discussion and nobody replied... poor me! i never knew how badly it is until i experienced it.:(

Oh, that's really common here in the lot. You don't have to worry about it though, because there are times when after several months or years, your topic would be dug up by someone and be responded by them.

Further, there's nothing wrong with having several topics or discussions with no responders, perhaps it was because of wrong timing - you know, when you made the topic on the same hour everyone decided to create their topics and your topic was pushed back to the end where nobody really saw it the first time around. hehe..

Don't worry, I have a lot of these.

Hi Gareth. Welcome to mylot. When I was new here I also have started discussions that do not have any responses, or if there are just very few. But that encourages me to start a better topic that is when I get lots of responses. But usually the responses are not really as fast as that. Sometimes it would take a day before you could see that they got responses.

Yes when I fist started! Let me help you a little here! First I looked at your profile, you do a lot of good responses! This is the first step here! You should do this more and for get about posting! Yes forget about posting it is not a big deal here new people come here and think they must do posts and this is the biggest mistake they make! the way to win here is to do responses and choose interests you like! Respond to discussions you enjoy and give long thoughtful responses, you are doing this! But as you do this find others who have stars with large numbers in them and have a high number of posts all ready! Ask them to be your friend! It's important here to have friends for the future! When you do start to post for real they will get notified that you made a post! Also posting is not easy! You must think of the audience you are are talking to! It's global and male ans female, so always consider this! When you do a post always make a LARGE comment to the people who respond to you! This is how you get paid! You don't get paid for posting! you get paid for commenting to the people who responded to you! So make it long, don't just say Thanks or you get nothing! Also rate the people who respond to you with a plus or minus! Don't forget to give out a best response to the person who deserves it! But wait a day until you do this so everyone has a chance to respond to you! Good Luck! tdemex

no its not happened with me till now. the minimum number of reply i received till now is just 1. i get 2 or 3 responses as well but never zero response. the maximum number of response i ever received is 41.

So far, all my topics received responses though not so many for me to brag about it (joke). I have seen many post who didn't get any responses yet those people weren't discouraged to write more and be active here. I guess if you become a trusted mylotter, your topics will be well received...but, it has to be interesting, otherwise, it won't get any.

I have not experience that yet. All my discussions were responded to by my mylot friends.

Don't feel bad-- just keep on and enjoy mylot. You can respond to other's discussion and in that way they will also look into your personal topics and discussions and respond!

Not yet but I have not started a lot of discussions because I could not think of interesting topics. I respond more to dicussions than start them. Its easier for me than thinking of topics. I also don't want to start discussions which are meaningless.

Most of the times I have received responses to all the discussions posted by me except for 1 or 2 discussions where in I till now have not got a single response.It feels sad at times that your posted discussion wasn't even noticed by fellow mylotters but there is nothing in it to get disappointed.Due to that I came to know only if I post some quality discussions which everyone would love to respond I won't face this 'no response' problem and from then I have never had this problem.Have a good day!
