Seriously though, I totally understand not wanting to be wring but when you just mix something up and it is pointed out to you how hard is it to say OOPS?

I am forever putting my foot in my mouth because I speak before I think and that leads to me making mistakes about who or what I am talking about. I have no problem saying so when I realize or someone questions if what I said was what I mean...

I've had foot in mouth syndrome before, but most of the time I try to avoid that... My foot doesn't taste very well! lol!

I dont mind puttin my foot in my mouth.... its when I cant reach my foot to do so that I will worry

Well if you take a look at my friends list and see who is friends with most but I can no longer deal with you will see. You make a mistake? Is that even possible?

My day stinks (literally) I don't know what died in our backyard but sheesh the smell is just well WOW. Sad since I have a cold from hell and have not been able to smell anything the past few days

I shall have to do my homework to sort that riddle out

So what might have died in your backyard?
They haven't dunped something there have ther - the victim?

Not a clue what it was but the smell is gone, was by the end of that day

Cold is still there no worse no better and I might not be able to smell anything but I live with two other people and while they are going deaf (not that either will admit it) they can smell and would sure say something

No they dont but they get it when I go into their bedrooms or the livingroom and grab the remote to turn the volume down... "oh was it loud"

I think my dad is even more deaf than my mom now. My mom is legally deaf, but she can hear with hearing aides. My dad has been losing his hearing for years but won't admit it. Now, he blames all the loud T.V., radio, etc. on mom, but she says that it is too loud for her and she has to turn her hearing aide down. It is pretty funny sometimes and very frustrating other times when you are trying to talk to my dad, because the words that he doesn't understand he will just fill in with whatever he wants instead of asking you to repeat what you have said. That makes for some interesting dialogue let me tell you.

I have an uncle that fills in the words he missed with whatever he sees fit but Ugh because it is that he turned off his hearing aide so he doesn't have to listen to my aunt but then cant turn it back on to hear the rest of us because she might catch on

LOL! That is pretty funny, Razcal. I would really hate to be in your uncle's shoes, or even in his general area, if your aunt ever does catch on to what he is doing!

If it was not gettin that someone was making a joke ok fine I am twisted and have missed many "in your face" jokes because they are just too straight forward. When I have asked more then a few times if what they meant was actually what I read or read by restating it and they say yes then WTF Ughhhhhhhh... Live and learn nothin live and stay away as best I can from the turd is more like it... speaking of which it just tryed to add me here again ....

Today is a much better day for me then the one I was having when I started this discussion, even wit the rain

Sometimes you just have to make the tough choices, and if staying as far away from them as you can is what you have to do to keep your sanity, then I hope that you are able to do it. Life is way too short to have to deal with a bunch of unnecessary stress and nonsense!

No there usually isn't any way to make them see things clearly. I guess it is my mistake for saying tat and then telling them I refuse to bother with them any longer so if they need help they need to look elsewhere.

Some need to be called out in public to face the truth. I proved that the day this discussion was started. I was told by someone that since I was the one thar broght her child into the playroom while her other child was seeing the doctor a month or so before that I am the reason her child has cancer...
Now how in any warped reality does that make sense?
