My Zoe..:) |
| |
| Remember my white german shepherd we had to get rid of because we couldn't afford the enzymes she needed? Well my daughter works for someone who is in close contact with the humane society and shared a couple pics of my Zoe who is now, Sophie. She is so beautiful, I really miss her, but know she is in a better place where she can get the treatment she needs.. | | Zoe | | | | |

| | It must've been hard to give her up like that but I am glad you had the courage to do so in her best interests. You did the right thing. It takes a lot of strength to let go but you saw the bigger picture and did it for her. She is indeed in a place where she can get the treatment she needs. Heartwarming story. Thanks for sharing. | | | | | | |

| | Thank you, and yes it was very hard, I cried, but knew it was best for her..SHe is much healthier here in these pics than when we took her to the humane society. But that was my husbands fault, he had this mentality that he could fix her..I am just glad she has a good home now.. | | | |

| | Sometimes the desire to help and be the one to save the ones you love clouds better judgment. I would've cried my eyes out, too. Things are better now so you should be proud. Happy mylotting, my friend. :-) | | | |

| | Me too, though I was certain she would be fine since a "save the white shepherd" group adopted her, but seeing how well makes it easier on me..Not that I don't miss her. Like this last weekend as I was raking leaves, I remembered how I had to keep cleaning up her dog dirt before doing a section and though it was extra work, she was worth it. | | | |

| | Awww. I am so sorry that you had to give her up but I am also glad that you did the best thing for her also. We had to put our dog to sleep this year. We had him for 11 years. I really miss him but we have now welcomed a new puppy to our home and he is precious also. | | | | | | |

| | Aww, I remember having an older dog that needed to be put down, that is hard. Zoe was only about a year and a half, too young to be put down, but that would have been her fate since her disorder was so far aloong. Thankfully as you can see, they brought her back again..:) | | | |
