Calculate Interest Accrued on a Series EE bond  | |  This one is for people who are really good in math. I got a math problem... just assume there are no bond calculators... if you have a $1000 Series EE bond and you bought it at a fixed rate back in 1980 when the interest rate was 6.31%.. how do you calculate the annual interest per year, and how do you calculate the total worth of the bond right now in 2009.
Can anyone figure this out and show your work.... how you got your answer.
