Does your dog drink beer?

hi, BrittneeD. I haven't see my dogs drink beer...nah.. how can i see my dog drink beer if no one drinking in my place. Well, I guess only male dogs are interested in beers?? Anyway, my dogs are choosy when it comes to their food,if they don't like the odor they're going to ignore their food. I guess they won't gonna like beer.

Wow really your dog do that? hahaha=) i bet your dog is one of your drinking buddies haha.. Nope my dogs can't do that... they don't even like the smell of it.

Hysterical! I thought mine was the only one who licked up beer spills.

When I have a drink in my hand, whatever it is - my dog sits in front of me and stares at me until I break. He even sits up and begs if I wait long enough. He wants to lick the sweat off the glass and if you offer it to him, he drinks out of it.

I tell my 5 yr old niece "He thinks he's a people!"

I've never heard of anyone that gave their dog beer until I read your post. I'm sure that isn't good for the dog. I have never given our dog beer and never plan to. I do give him table scraps though which I probably shouldn't do.

i don't think theres any problem giving a dog beer that isn't the same as giving people beer as long as you make sure he doesn't drink too much and get alcohol poisoning. i don't have a dog that likes it but i do know that horses are regular alcoholics they love beer:) its much harder to give a horse alcohol poisoning but they cant throw up if their tummy is upset either so you have to be careful with them too.

i don't think its nice to give beer to dogs, it may affect the liver of the dogs, you should ask to a doctor, before givingbear to your dogs........don't take risks............

well, if you wnat poochie snokkered and all wobbly to the poin he urinates all the place... LOL! on the serious side, it won't really harm the pet to give him a small amount, but just like anyone, a dog can also get alcohol poisoning from ove consumption and the other problem, and this is really serious is the dog can turn into alcoholics faster than human, then too, his weight is a major factor in how alcohol he can consume, and just like humans, alcohol can cause dehydration and it can do it a lot faster to an animal eiht it's faster metabolism..

I don't feed my dog beer but once at a party at my house a really drunk person put beer in my dog's bowl and he drank it. Not sure if he liked or not!

My dog does enjoy beers some times, on a saturday night we can pour a can into his bowl and he would happily drink it. I believe that it is very good social bonding between my and my dog.
