How many phones in your house...?

I have a cell phone for personal use. My husband has a cell phone for work that his company pays for each month. And we also have a landline phone in our house. And the landline we have 3 different phones with. We keep one in our living room, one in mine and hubby's bedroom and then hubby has one in his shop outside that stays locked up so that way if he's working in his shop and I'm not home and the phone rings he can answer it.

I don't have a cell phone as i don't need one right now. my dad has cell phone and hes the only one in the house right now that does. my mom did have one but she had to give it to the guy who pays for it because hes got taken... as far as house phones go we have one in every room. 5 total i think.

Yes, world2lot, your discussion remind me the days before. Like you said, when I was a child, even if a land line is rarity. But now everyone has a cell phone at least.
Now there are two phones with one numbers (one is fax machine, one is phone) in my family, and three cell phones for three family members (my parents and I), if including the obsolete phone, the number may be over ten.
Similar with you, I bought my first cell phone in the college, it was Nokia 8210.

we have one landline - a base station phone and 3 cordless phones to go with it.

Then I have a cell phone, because I'm not at home a lot but I need to be reachable if something happens to my mom and my other sibs can't be reached - actually, my brother is the first to be called, but I'm after him because our sister is out of town

Now, my brother and sister don't have landlines - tho I think my sister's partner might have one at her house. My brother has an office phone that I'm sure is a landline.

my mother still has a landline phone too, at least the last time I checked, but I thought my brother was going to cut it off because she can't use it any more - but my sister does use it to get online when she's in town...

Well, at the present time, we have just Cell phones that we use, and no home landline due to not being home very often. Between my husband and I we have 1 Cell phone a piece, so that makes a total of 2 phones. I used the Internet there for a little while to also make calls, but rely on just my Cell at this time.

I have two landlines at my house,My wife has her nokia 3600 and i am using a 2300c unit.Phones are nescesity nowadays,thats why almost everybody has their own phone.

We have 3 in our house. My younger siblings are not allowed to have their cellphone yet. Plus like you, we have a land line.

We have a land line before but we cut it off when most of my family have a cellphone and my parents thought that a land line will have no use anymore.
But just this year, we put back our land line since we need it to connect to the internet.

It's really ironic that we have many phones in our house...

hello world2lot, i thought you were asking for telephone lines, big mistake but still i can answer, actually we have at least two mobile phones, mine is screwed i think because of battery. plus, two other land lines that makes like four phones but i feel sad because i only use land line and not my mobile phone, i just hope my sim card isn't expired yet since I've been using it for almost two years already and i got two other sim cards as well, i just hope i don't loose them too
