For the Love of God or For the Love of Her?

"Many were called but few were chosen".I often heard this phrase from a priest or from someone who wants to be a priest.These priests or would be priests have heard a calling to serve God with all their hearts, and when they talk about it, they speak with utmost certainty that they will serve God, indeed, and abstain celibacy.Well, no one can question the truthfulness in their words. However,during the process of becoming a priest, they meet someone. Someone they feel in love with, they desire.They can no longer hear the calling to serve God but rather the call of their earthly desires.It is difficult to give up both now since love is present to both.Sadly this reality does not only happen to the would be priests, even those who are already priests. So, which one is more acceptable to continue loving God the way through priesthood and suffer losing the woman you love or choosing to love her and suffer the pain from denying your spirit to serve God the way it has always wanted to, not to mention what the society would think about it?
