I agree...every one of them we kill is one less we have to worry about...

I have to disagree with you on this for one reason...it is cheaper to just kill him and then turn his filthy remains over to his family for burial. I prefer the death penalty of giving "life in prison" sentences. Why burden the tax payers with having to provide food, shelter, clothing, medical care, and wardens to babysit this worthless piece of crap and others like him? It seems to me that the real people who are punished by sentencing someone to "life in prison" are the taxpayers...honest hard-working people who have done nothing wrong. Kill the pieces of trash, then make their families come and get the body and do something with it. Either that or cremate the remains and pour them out somewhere. Cremating is, however, cheaper than burying someone.

Don't punish the honest taxpayers for the crimes of others...kill the criminals instead of giving them "life sentences" so the tax payers do not have to provide for them...

well, i can understand you simple faith but what chances are they're in waiting for this person to change and given a second chance in life but most people won't agree with it since they want justice to those who have died. well, let him rot and escape is a bad choice, not sure whether he will remain there for long. most people who rot in prison don't change, some are but most aren't.

I say take that a step further...once convicted and sentenced to death...take them out in the courtyard square and HANG THEM publicly the way they used to do it in the old days. Make it a public affair, and let everyone see the person hang. This would send the message that if you mess up, this is what we will do to you. You could even sell tickets to help pay for the cost of the court and to help pay for the rope you had to buy to hang the person LOL

I love it. That is an excellent idea. It would be I'm sure a deterent for others. Once you witness someone being hung I'm sure that would stay with you for life.

He was known as the D.C. Sniper. He was the guy who went around the Washington, D.C. area in 2002 shooting people, including a Law Enforcement officer and a child, at random. I am glad that he is finally dead, but I am deeply disappointed that it took our legal system this long to do it.
