i am really displeased these days with the rate at which the dollar is falling against all other major currencies and that is making me to lose a percentage of the income i am earning online, anytime the dollar falls in value, my heart often skips and i really feel concern about it

Although the US economy in general is in the tank, the weak dollar has a lot to do with fiscal policy. The Fed is keeping interest rates as low as they can be and pumping huge amounts of money into the economy. That's bad for the dollar and could lead to lots of inflation down the road. I think it'll be a while before the dollar strengthens again...we'll have to see if the economy responds to the government's stimulus measures.

The dollar has no value because it is backed by nothing and it is printed w/o regard for the long-term economy. It was mentioned earlier that the government is printing all this money, but the government has little say what the fed is doing... they are their own entity and their printers are working like a production line...that is too say, they just keep printing money. I feel sorry for future generations because someone is going to have to pay for all of this... and did I happen to mention the two trillion dollars that the fed supposedly admitted as "missing". Any wonder why the dollar keeps losing value?

Dollars must fall in order for stock markets to go up. You need to slash the rate in order to balance the economy. Once recovered, it is time to raise interest rate and dollar will once again go up which will be tell tale sign of another cycle of financial corrections. Cheers.

I havent even noticed to be honest! I am careful with money (well I have to be now) but any money that I make online is free money which I save and use as and when I want something either for the house or for the kids! Thinking about using it for christmas now though. Is it going down rapidly or just slowly so nobody notices?

I don't know myself, I think it was something that had to do with a certain old primeminister who didn't look after his countries economy that much but was more focused of protecting his country from certain terrorists. I think Obama will do his best and certainly there will be a better outcome.
