Hi Kennyrose, yet again this proves my point that countries should be run by very dull accountants in cardigans with frugal natures (not the Firm ones in fancy suits), instead of politicians who are profligate in nature.

Your presidents should lead by example and set the tone for the need for budgetary awareness, White House dinners should be replaced by home made sandwiches and all those unneceaasry office staff cleaned out, along with the priveleges. Bankrutcy is caused by bad housekeeping so all the frills should be cut and hand the place over to those with some fiscal sense, but no doubt accountants who earn politicians salaries or more will be the ones appointed to drag out the mess.

I don't think one person can be blamed for all the financial messes leading to imminent bankruptcy, that is far too simplistic a concept when dealing with money, but certainly he should start leading by example.

I'm in Illinois and we've had Democrats in office forever! Greed and corruption are rampant here. As some may know, we have had several Dem governors go to prison and one is yet to be tried.
I work at a state university and right now the state owes us thirty million dollars. We're at risk of losing our health care because the state isn't paying the premiums. The college normally holds back 6 months of wages and we've already gone through 4 months of it.
Tomorrow there will be an open meeting at the main campus to discuss budget cuts, possible lay offs, and how we're going to continue operating.
Sen. D!ck Durbin and our current Governor, Pat Quin, are asking that the feds send 200 terroists from Gitmo so we can house them here in an empty prison we have. I haven't fact checked this but I've heard that Illinois would get a billion dollars to do so.

Guess that means more transplants headed to Atlanta...
