Quite a few of them actually, before a couple of coffees and a slice or two of pizza. Probably you've noticed that we rarely have a chance to answer these fascinating and interesting discussions about favourite ice cream flavours and pizza toppings anymore as they tend to get deleted as repetitive. But I know how you can still make them without being deleted. My research has shown it just takes a little originality in the title and the chances are your discussion will remain and most likely gain you 100's of responses as there really aren't that many left. Another good tip is to actually respond to the very first response to fool people into thinking you may actually be interested in making it into a discussion. So let's get original. I'll start with do you prefer tea or coffee (likely to be deleted). Let's try 'if you were sitting on a hill looking at the view would you choose coffee or tea to drink'. Let's see if we can muster up some original pizza, coffee and ice cream discussions.

Wakakakka. That's clever, actually. In fact, I have some questions springing. I have always wondered how an ice-cream is made. I know that you can use fresh yogurts and stuff but what about those complicated menus like chocolate chip ice-cream, strawberry fudge and whatnot? Yummy!

Thanks again, Thea for telling me. It's blurry, alright. I am trying to enlarge it too. Thanks for zooming in, ..

Hi zed, yes indeed, your ice cream will remain undeleted currently if you post about eating it in the winter but new ones are required. Ice cream is generally made from eggs and cream but I prefer mine made from Greek yogurt. Nothing complicated at all but you may find it easier to start off with a granita, or sorbet, which only requires a plastic tub and a spoon. I'll look foward to your scintillatind ice cream discussion later zed.

Hi thea I like the way that you think. It is true that you can ask the same with different wording. I always look for the catchy phrases on a discussion. It makes them more interesting and yep it will get many responses. I do enjoy reading your discussions. Have a nice day and keep up the good work. Keep Smiling.

Forgive me rose but I am hoping to see many christmas decoration discussions deleted along with the ice cream ones. Glad to hear you've settled and losing weight as well.

If I was going to complain to congress, I would do so over an extra cheese pizza, mocha ice cream and coffee (with a splash of whiskey in it). Because there is nothing tastier to eat while complaining to congress on wednesday, november 25th......so yummy.

Hi xfahctor, so what's the date of the one I was going to join in then, the day I don't complain to congress? As you have failed the challenge set here I must challenge you now to enter politics and open an original and fascinating and interesting discussion on WHO HID THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE. If you feel that really is a litte too jaded now you could come up with an origianal one about bowing to the Emperor of China. Remember please, re word your title so there's no chance of being deleted through repitition. WHO HID THE GOAT? WEll, this is the same day actually. I declared it in response to the congressmans resolution to make it a complaint free day. I used my powers as temporary dictator of New Hampshire to do so. And what do you mean I failed the challenge? It thought I worked all 3 in to the response in a pretty clever (if shameless) fashion. Either way, I was thinkng more along the lines of "Palin in 2012, what do the Mayans think?"

Why? All I did was slip on an ice cream and valuable research time was wasted in this discussion. If you don't believe me look at all the ice cream discussions I responded to earlier which had survived the axe.

Ah, got you Zeph, and then you go on to ask about pizza toppings. I think posting the word delete in the title sounds like too much of an invitation, you'll need to be more orginal but excellent attmept.

I would choose tea. Now I will explain why even thought it is not very interesting.Yawn Yawn! You see they do not grow teas where i live but I did have coffee on our farm. S before I would have a cup of coffee whilst looking out over the hills at the farm I first would have to: Pick it when the berries or beans ripe. Very tedious Dry it some sort of way and then it would go into a thingy called a pestle and mortar. You had to bang the coffee in the thingy with either the pestle or mortar - cannot remember which is which - and then sieve it a little or bang it again before brewing. And all of the above before drinking it. So therefore - it is far less tdious for me to drink tea. Okay. Go back to sleep

Yes, we grew coffee, just enough for household use for the year. I was young and foolish as it was extrememly hard work. I also did chocolate or drnks too and all sorts of things that I no longer have any desire to do. Living off the land was extremely hard way of life. Just in case you are remotely interested (which you are not but I will tell you anyway) I like coconut and coffee ice cream and like real mushrooms on my pizza. Huge fat juicy mushrooms - none of that tinned stuff

Of course I'm interested in huge fat juicy mushrooms. Amazingly we have no mushrooms here and have only had over priced button ones for years, usually slimey by the time they hit the shops. But they've just brought in those huge portobello ones which are wonderful. The one and only time I've had garlic mushrooms in a taverna (not a Greek dish) I could have cried as the tinned mushrooms arrived. Silly question but can you actually smell the coffee beans before you harvest them? I'd just be lying around inhaling them if you can.

Hi cynthiann, so you decided to come up with an original response to such a boring topic rather than an original title. I can see it wouldn't suit you to put up an originally worded title (guaranteed to bring you 100's of responses as all the rest will have been deleted) as you are so nice you'd feel obliged to answer every one and find yourself asleep with boredom. I once took the challenge on a pizza one, slightly more original than its toppings, but boxed myself in horrendously by receiving 35 identical answers. Wow though, you really grow coffee.

Hi Thea, How about,"If there was a yellow caution tape (the ones that are used at crime scenes) in front of your favorite pizza parlor, would you still go in to get your pizza? There is no other police activity going on. You can still see the pizza maker inside and you just ordered your favorite pizza, with your favorite toppings, what are they and is it worth going in and possibly disturbing a crime scene?" or "Your political affiliations are being chosen by which drink you choose, do you choose coffee or tea? No background is given, after your choice you will be notified, use the differences in coffee or tea to decide." and finally, "You wake up in an unknown location without any clothing, and the only thing you see are tubs of ice cream, you look out the window and your car is in running distance but people are milling about, would you use ice cream to cover the necessary parts to be covered to run to your car or would you eat the ice cream and use the tubs?"

Thea, I'm the hoverfly...I feel like I would be pointing a target on my poor dancing avatar. Not to mention how people will think that I feel that coffee and tea have certain political characteristics which I can't think of any, anyway but it would be amusing to see, perhaps I should post it in the safe p.e. interest. It is meant to be satirical. Please feel free to use the idea in the political interest. I read it but have not had any inclination to join in the fray.

Hey, thea...my power has been on for more than 3 hours. So tired of running out and starting that generator! O.K. how many of you have made Ice Cream..the old fashioned way? Fresh eggs, fresh cream, churn....two buckets, one filled with ice & salt, smaller one inside, and churn, churn...churn? Yummy....as you tumble in the wild berries that you have just picked. How many of you...in desperation have looked for alternatives to Coffee...and roasted dandelion roots? Or made your own Pizza dough, from scratch and added a mixture of cheeses/herbs between two crusts before adding your favourite toppings! Oh...and top of the hill, I might do some "otherwise" imbibing, so when I fell off the landscape, rolled down the hill....the abrupt stop, might NOT hurt so much! Something we loved to do as kids, roll down a sidehill, right into a creek at the bottom, and laugh so hard....we had to crawl back up the hill! Have a great one..and HUGZ!

Hi Shirley, I must confess to having never made ice cream in a bucket, but have made it in the ice cream maker. I've never in my life made pizza dough but regularly do creative things with wild herbs. Nothing would make me so desperate as to roast dandelion roots when a cup of mint tea only requires some fresh mint leaves putting in a pan of water. Well that was more interesting than the ones I've been researching and unsuprisingly I didn't run into you there answering a single one about your favourite ice cream topping. Have a good day with TJ when he arrives. Hugs.

Hi jillhill, correction if I may, there used to be a ton of them but now they are being deleted so much there's nothing left hardly unless one is original. I think your pizza costume one is original enough to sneak in to the ones which stay up.

hi thea do I prefer coffee or tea, well seeing that its darned cold tonight inhere and my roomie is snoring, a hot cup of most anything, preferably hot chocolate though would be great. my legs feel cold. when it was so hot earlier I swore I would not complain when it got cooler but here I am complaining.oh well that only means I am human. Well as long as you did not do a gainer over the ice cream that probably had melted into a gooey mess all is well. How about a discussion asking if anyone ever threw their icecream at you and why, and did you duck why and if you did not why? that still sounds too repetitive though. How about how many of you like to dump your ice cream on top of your pizza ? that at least might make a few people go yuck or erp.we were playing scrabble today and found out the word erp is an actual word meaning to vomit.oh my head is swirling with thoughts of coffee, tea and ice cream mixed with pizza.yuck. now I am hungry.go figure.

Hi Hatley, you sounded in a crabby mood when you answered there, but I love the discovery of your new word. Excuse me I need to 'erp' - wonder if it translates into Greek. I sympathise with all of your complaints, there is nothing worse than cold feet, once the feet are cold the whole body suffers. The weather has been lovely today but not hot enough to complain about the heat, but the evening is bitterly cold, I planned to go out but couldn't be bothered looking for enough socks to keep my feet warm out there. Anyway you came up with some good discssion titles which wouldn't be deleted, so please rise to the challenge now and use one of them, a number have already been started by our friends here. I think the dumping ice cream on top of the pizza would generate many responses for you Hatley and would be quite fun. But the confusion as to where to place it, in pizza or ice cream.

Hello, Thea, well, I wouldn't be sitting on the hill, as I have lupus, which affects my lungs and makes climbing a no-no. But assuming I had been driven up there, I wouldn't have tea or coffee. I don't drink coffee. I love tea, but if I'm outdoors it has to be cava - demi secco and preferably rose, although I won't turn any cava down as long as it's well chilled.

Hello Sandra and excellent, a suprise rise to the challenge on your part with an interesting ice cream discussion. Holly is going to do a coffee one and Lina did an ice cream one. Really good to see everyone playing. Where on earth did you get the idea I could possibly be interested in what beverage you choose to drink up a hill?
