If I take a real deep breath I have been hearing a wheeze today. I think its from allergies. Do you ever get this and if so whats it from?

The only time I get a wheezing noise is when I've been punched in my lungs. Feels nice though.. jk

I never experienced this until I went to Florida where pollen count is high. I had wheezes. I couldn't believe I was having it. It was like a squeaking door.

I just started hearing a wheezing in my chest on the odd occasion. I told my doctor about it at my recent physical and she gave me a puffer. When I felt the wheezing a couple of weeks ago I used the puffer and afterwards I coughed for an hour. I think I was clearing up all the mucus built-up. I couldn't understand why at my age I all of sudden started wheezing (I'm 47). Interesting to hear I'm not alone.

I seem to get that when I smoke a lot. Probably my lungs trying to cope with all the mean things I do to them.

moneymommy it could be allergy or asthma or bronchitis but i would in all seriousness take it to your doctor as wheezing is a sign of some sort of irritation from something. do not doctor 'yourself, get medical help instead.
