So how is it going now that it has been a few hours without cigs? I am a smoker and I know that it real hard to just lay them down. I know that we all make that New's resolution. Well mine is going to be to stop smoking. I hope that I can do this. I wish you the luck as wel and hope that you are doing good with it. Drink lots of water and chew gum is what I have been told to do.
Have a nice day and keep smiling.

NO NO Don 't give up. You almost have the worst over with. Im sure all this talking isn't helping matters either. Grap a straw or something that is the same size of a cig and pretend to smoke it. I think you can fool the brain if you try hard enough. You can do this..Keep smiling.

Congratulations. You should reward yourself for that great accomplishment despite the fact that you got frustrated with one of your discussions here that got deleted -- yes i know i am following on your posts, you still manage to stop smoking. That's a good start and a sign that you can. It's really all in the mind with support from the heart to really stop anything that will really put your life at risk for any smoke-related illness.
Stay Healthy and back it up with healthy lifestyle practices...exercise, sports, massage therapy and anything where you are comfortable. i am happy for you friend!

smoking??
in my country smoking is completely banned in public places..
i have seen many of my friends who say that they quit smoking, they will stay away for three days and they ll continue again, but few of my friends, have really quit smoking,
it is your decision and control over mind to quit smoking and save your liver system to have a happy stage of life in older ages,
have a good control, take some courses under yoga and go swimming, play table tennis regularly.
quit the smoke, save your life and save your money!!!!!
happy mylotting

u cannot tell that u don't have money, the amount u spend for smoking is very high than any of these outdoor games..
for swimming $1 per hour..
table tennis 2$ per month...
u can buy chocolates and cookies for ur child in the money in which you smoke

It is acknowledged that smoking is harmful for your health. My grandfather acquired a habit of smoking since he was 17 years old. Now he is weak, he has many diseases caused by smoking.
I know it is difficult to stop smoking, but i think there are many ways to taper off smoking.

Are you planning to quit or something?
We know its all about self discipline.
I tried to quit before. Read a lot of books on how to do it. Listen to most people who have clean lungs and most especially to my elders. But i can't help it. The longest time that i didn't smoke is nearly three days. I can't get the hang of it though. During those times i have "Snowbear" with me. Withdrawal symptoms came in and i am becoming sick, so i decided to smoke again. It has been 5 years since it happened.
