San Diego: ACORN Document Dump ~ ~ ACORN OFFICE DUMPS 20,000 DOCUMNENTS   

ACORN is the perfect example of a good idea gone bad. The idea was good but as soon as the government entered into the mix things went bad. Couple that with corrupt management and government shielding and the current ACORN is what you get. The whole program should be forced to disband due to widespread corruption. Those at the top of the heap for each office should be prosecuted, where appropriate because even though the corruption is widespread in the organization not everyone is corrupt, for fraud. Until we show people like this that they can't defraud the people or the government any longer they will continue down the path which they have taken. We have to demand that lawmakers do something. Think of what could have been done with all the money the US government has given to these people. It is way beyond the pale.

I expect that the next thing to happen is that the private detective who retrieved the documents from the dumpster will be charged with trespassing. Or it could be that once the documents are in the public dumpster they become property of the City and he will be charged with stealing city property. Or maybe, since it was all paper and the city recycles paper from trash, he will be charged with some environmental crime. In any case, they will manage to make him the criminal, because the attorney general's office headed by Jerry Brown is too corrupt to conduct an investigation of ACORN and as we know, has already assured ACORN that the only charges will be against the couple that made the video.
