How the devil came to be  

You are right, those who teach stealing and lieing will be accountable to God.

I cannot show you the devil since he is an invisible spirit but he did somehow manifest himself to Jesus. (Read Matthew 4:1-10 if you believe the Bible)

Jesus died for all and through his death many will live.

The parts in the bible that I agree with can be corroborated through historical empirical evidence where the Gospels also agree.

So did Jesus really meet the Devil? Show me where this can be proven both corroborated in the bible as in also found in other books in the Bible and outside of the Bible.

The devil once enjoyed great privileges in God's arrangement but he did not control his pride and greed and made himself an enemy of God. We could brand him a traitor and a deserter and wants to turn everyone against God. You may have noticed the world has become more and more anti-God.

While you believe that maybe the Devil is the evil in us, the Bible presents the Devil as an entity, a spirit being like all the other angels but with evil intent. Right now he is actually running the world (no wonder it's in the mess it's in).

We do have sinful inclinations in us which we inherited genetically from our first parents (in the Bible they are called Adam and Eve). So we have a constant fight as to whether we will do good or we will do bad.

Here is how the Bible presents the sinning process:

James 1:13-15 (New International Version)

13When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

So we have to fight sin at its weakest point. Just like it's much easier to win a fight with a baby lion than a full-grown one. By filling our minds and hearts with good thoughts it makes it easier to win the fight here. Good thoughts produce good actions. Being careful as to what we watch, what we listen to, who we associate with, what we read, then again this will influence our thoughts and actions.

We can win the fight against the devil and against the evil in us. If a bad thought manifests itself in us then we need to stop feeding it and it will weaken and go away. We can replace bad thoughts with good.

There is no need to invent a "devil" in oder to embody this process. This is a human fallacy, a trip into fantasyland.

I am not inventing the Devil. He is real. Just as real as you and I. The Bible has unmasked this evildoer. Fact is fact and truth is truth. And because some don't believe it, it doesn't change a thing. Thanks for your comments!

It seems to me that when meditating on this verse and other Bible verses that God only reveals the truth and makes it understandable to those who have good motives in their heart.
