Do you believe in witches?  

No no no

All these are superstition . Nothing reality there. I even not believe on the existence of God So how can I believe on the existence of witches?

I am interested in harry potter books and movie series. They portray character of the white witches and with the dark witches as their enemies. Even in ancient history the beliefs in witches spread like wildfire. So far i have not met one yet and though i like to test myself the theory behind those magical tricks if is either real or just a bit of illusion and fantasy. Though, i believe their is evil and good that sounds conradictory. Though, I am attracted to good witchcraft and not to the extent that it is bad if uses in proper way. Though, most likely those who believe live in a fantasy and their is nothing wrong if someone could comes out to confess she is a witch. I heard various stories about the real witches and they just sounds pathetic though they really seem interesting including their other enchanting ability could be proven beyond disbelief.

Yes I do because even in biblical times there were persons who practised majic and witchcraft .The first mention of it that I recalled was when when King Saul went to a witch of Endor to summon up the spirit of Sammuel so that he could consult with him as to his fate in the impending war.I think these witches are able to do their craft because of the devils handiwork and so I believe that just like in those days ,so it is now

it's seems to be something in a lot of the older culture's, like chinese, aborginal, indian etc. the people who are like doctors, that you can go to for anything. i've got a few spell books, but not used them. they're about mixing ingredients, like oils, leaves etc and some spells have to be done at particular times of the month.
you just have to follow the instructions. i've got a spell there for weight loss, and i think it has helping me. but one thing it does say in one book, for spells involving people you are not to try and force someone or it will/can back fire even worse.
anyone can be a witch, not just those who are in to i'll say the goth culture.

Lol, forget everything you have seen in movies and books about witches.
Genuine witches are followers of pagan religions such as the various denominations of wicca. Genuine witches see nothing "supernatural" or mysterious about their practices and beliefs. Have I ever encountered a witch? lol, sure, plenty of them. My daughter, for one, she is a follower of celtric traditional Wicca, it is her religion. I consider myself pagan as well, but I'm not really a devoutly religious person, it is just the area I seem to identify with most. I have attended a number of summer solstice celebrations with a coven in the city of Salem, in Massachusetts. It's beautiful and historic old city. I live only a few hours north of salem in a neighboring state. It was a coven that calls it self "the temple of 9 wells", really nice bunch of people, very warm and friendly group.

Hi nrtan, :) No. I dont. However, I do believe that some people do things that scare others so that others start obeying them. :) God simply didn't create that inequality. It is the weak mind that wants to accept such things. If witches were there, we wouldnt have so much population. After all, everybody has some enemies. :)

absolutely not, i like magic and i dream to become a wizard one day, but it's impossible, beacause magic doesn't exist so also witches and wizards don't exist. I like fantasy and magic worlds with magic creatures, buildings powerful spells and misteryous things, but they are only on movies, books and videogames. Some old persons there believe in withces, my granmother tell me a story with a witch, but i don't believe in them.

I don't believe in witches and I don't believe in magic. It is all superstition. Many people in the past were accused of being witches by their neighbors and were lynched. Witches or any other magical creatures don't exist. I do believe that people look like witches, but that doesn't mean that they are.

Never heard story about witches that can create fires, smoke and say magic words just like in Harry Potter.
But I have heard a lot of stories especially from those people who were from mountainous area from our country that witches are real.
My mom is from Capiz which is known for local witches, as we Filipinos know.I still remember my mom's story. And it happened when she was still young.
I haven't encountered one yet and wishing not to, but yeah, I believe on them. Not the witch in Harry Potter okay? Just the local witch..

I don't believe in witches, but in some parts of my home country they have this saying: "I don't believe in them, but being... there are".
I like them more as a fiction character. There are a few nice books and movies about witches, and I enjoy reading or watching them :)
