All about black Friday shopping spree !

I hope you all had a nice thanksgiving. How did the shopping spree go for you?
We did not go very early for shopping, just went to see the crowd and if there is something with a really good deal. We did not find what you can say is a really good deal.
Did you go for black Friday shopping spree?
Did you waited in the line from late night or you just go in the late morning?
What did you buy and where did you buy?

I started shopping at 4. Well at least that is when I got to the store and that is 4AM. We only went to Walmart. I was mainly looking for deals on DVDs, clothes and video games but I only got lucky with the DVD's and video games. I saved a lot of money by shopping today and getting the deals so I'm definitely not going to complain about fighting with the crowds. I helped my partner get a deal for her sister so I think it was a pretty good day.

Hey,
We don't really have the shopping deals here India, but my friend who's currently in GA was telling me that he was planning to wait in line to get his ticket at about 2 am, that's crazy!
There are 50 % straight offs and I wish i'd be there to shop!

Ya, some people wait in line from 1 or 2 am the night before for early morning shopping. Hope sometime you will be here to watch that crazy shopping spree :).

My husband got up and went to Menards, but that was all. I did run to Walmart about 8 and picked up some pjs for my grandson. We did go later in the day, but did not get any terrific deals.

We also did not find any great deal. I am glad that for some people it worked out well.

I live in Canada and our Thanksgiving is rather early in October. I do wish our Thanksgiving was in November like yours, but we have a lot of things against us like shorter growing season, early snow, crops turning black ate this time of year because of the frost, etc. It would be wonderful to get all our Christmas shopping done at once, instead of starting now and doing a bit at a time until the day before Christmas.
Of course, I do not think we will be able to do much this year.
