Which part of the house do you think your first aid kit should be placed?  

I keep it in the kitchen, which is where accidents are more likely to happen

There are no kids at my home, so I have the 1st aid kit in a shelf near the tv. It's just because it's easy too see and very handy. I wanted it to be in the kitchen, but currently I don't have the right space in the kitchen to put it.

in our house, its just me and my husband, and our first aid kit just include some plasters, some antiseptics, things like that...and i just place them where i can easily find them! haha i need to place them where i also put those things that i often use coz if not, i might also forget about it! huh! i do have some memory gap at times! hahaha

i think, sometimes, we tend to forget such things during emergency situation coz sometimes we really panicked and feel nervous on the situation...that's why our mind tend to forget about them coz what we want to do is to apply right away anything that we can easily do...so i think we really must be calm during emergency situations to think well...

Better to place it in an area that is easy for you to see it but not easy for the kids to reach it at least when emergency happens you can easily see it & not causing you to panic around.

Ours is kept in the bathroom. I don't really know why it is, it just is. However, I think maybe one first aid kit should be kept in each area of the house (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom). If you have kids, then just the adult bedroom.

Well if there is a bigger budget for such, then I would put first aid kit in different places at home considering that accidents can happen anytime, anywhere. But most notably if there is only one set of first aid kit or supplies, then I would place them in the kitchen. Most of accidents and injuries may happen there. Aside from the first aid kit, a fire extinguisher would also be useful in the area.

My house has a central hall, from where you go to kitchen, bedrooms, guest room , toilet and upstairs, we keep a first aid box there in a small stand on the left wall, this is visible to all, so this can be used by any person in the home..
