Bouncing mylotters........of mylot......

Ok..mike that is something I don't know...but is it good to respond to just 5 responses with in a week when you already got nearly 30 responses or more...?

I use that method as well. I like to keep my discussion 'alive' and do not comment on all responses at once. It is a good way to increase responses to your discussion.

Commenting 5 responses in a week will not help. Maybe the member is very lazy and cannot manage more than 2 comments in 2-3 days.

You used to save mine for later Mike as you told me it was your way of reviving old discussions. Whatever did happen to Vathia? Must do my own discussion about it.

I was jesting Mike, I don't mind at all being kept on special hold but if I hadn't been pre warned I would have been mightily insulted.

I heard that method before and am trying to do that too with my discussions... It is nice to still receive responses to your old discussions... I don't honestly recall who told me that, maybe it was you too . That method is very good and effective...

Sometimes my posts build up due to "Real Life." You know, job, visitors, illness. I figure it doesn't matter if things get a bit out of order, as I can still figure out pretty much where things belong in a thread, either by context, or the "date" by the post.

By the way, I wish MyBot would stop the nearly-useless practice of saying such-&-such post was sent "three days ago," or whatever. How hard would it have been to just put up the actual date & time?

yeah....last week i responded a discussion and mine was on the second page the poster responded me leaving behind all the people before me...and there was no more responding as waited to see what she was going to do..

hi lucky i do try to keep my discussion by commenting though i have to work it on too..time is my enemy if i only have full time i could comment on it, but i do read them all that why it takes me longer to reply since i am very slow in typing and my internet connection is bit slower most of the times..

I'm a 'bouncer' but I do manage to bounce to everyone sooner or later and more than once too - especially when everyone is also bouncing back and forth and springing up all over the place!

This is about 30(aprox)responses and 4 or 5 comments of well known mylotters answered and the rest is kept for a week or more...

neel, please don't misunderstand, i know everyone is busy and tries to catch up so we can always go back to our missed discussion. it's quite pretty tiring but don't worry because our effort commenting back will be paid off

mysd bounce when it is necessary to do so....Go and have a look at her last discussion and check if you notice any shuffling....like I say here

Wit, some rooms need a bouncer--the kind that tosses mean drunks out of bars, if you get my drift! By the way, I nearly married one of those kind long ago, but I changed my mind, since I liked him too much to punish him with my mouth. You see, he was very sweet, & tall & strong, but we weren't an intellectual match, & I realized that at some point, we'd end up unable to understand one another, & get bored. We'd both be unhappy.

But the "bouncers" here are a whole 'nuther kind of creature, & I totally enjoy the intellects I meet!

Roflmao... I just cannot stop smiling and laughing when I read these responses. I mean, seriously, you guys are the reason why I earn so little. Everyday, there is atleast one discussion from the top mylotters and I get so involved in the responses and comments that I completely forget about responding and earning.

I really do not have a clue. Just a week ago, I was going fine with a blue 10 beside my name and a 96 reputation and then suddenly in a couple of days I fell to 91.
