Meeting someone new can be be a nerve-wracking experience. Meeting someone new who you think is going to be your partner for the rest of your life may make you nervous too. And when you need to travel to an unfamiliar city or even a foreign country to meet your match, you can be apprehensive and fearful. We advise that you take all precautions, some listed above and others that you may find in other online articles or from your friends and family, before you make your trip. Most importantly, remain safe: Safety and security are paramount, especially if you are meeting someone for the first time in a city that you are not familiar with. Before you travel, share your travel itinerary and other details with your friends and family, give a phone number and address where you can be reached, and remain in touch with friends and family throughout. Also, please do not meet in someone’s house the first time, until you are comfortable and feel secure with that person.

if you are meeting someone for the first time, especially with a chat mate, better meet up in a public place like a restaurant.you must tell your parents and friends who you are meeting, when, and where you are meeting that person.you should keep you mobile phone on hand.do not go with him/her in his/her house and do not accept his/her offer to give you a ride.if you are traveling to another country give the phone number of the hotel you are staying.give them the itinerary of your travel.it is better safe than sorry.
