Hi there! Well, we can also earn from posting comments. But same with posting discussions and responses, it also depends on quality. The intention of the user on posting a comment depends on the way it is posted. If it is too short, the user posted it just for fun because short posts will not be paid. If you try to post comments on thd responses you received, it makes your discussion interesting because you made a conversation between you and other users who participated on your topic. Interaction is the key to a good discussion and if without it, the topic will not be discussed well and it will look 'dry'. You should try it and see that it really helps to earn more. Have a nice day!

That is one the main ways to make money on here. This is a writing site. So therefore the more you write the more you will make. I always respond to my discussions. It is also out of respect to the person who gave the response to let them know that you have read their response.
I wish you best and keep smiling.

Hi dora
Thanks for the comment. I know what you are talking about too. I wish that mylotters would realize that some people like to hear from them too.

I absolutely know what you are trying to say here. I have a friend that is on here that starts tons and tons of discussions and I respond to a lot of them because they are things that interest me. However, this specific person never comes back and responds to what the people have said. I wonder if she even reads them at all. Even something as simple as thanks would be nice.

When you are on mylot, you are actually earning for what you write alone. That means, if you start a discussion and then abandon it, you aren't earning nearly as much as your full potential. However, if you start a discussion and keep up with it, you will find that you will earn a whole lot more. I don't know how it all really works because we aren't allowed to talk about the algorithm that is used to calculate earnings. However, I do notice that when I have a discussion with a lot of comments on it and then I take the time to comment back to everyone that has left a response for me, my earnings in that day are a lot greater.

I let you know that basic time and place. So, are you going to be joining us. I'll make sure and pull out the drinks.

I do hope that party is still not going on
And I do hope they change the tune.
