My favorite file sharing site just shut down and I am looking for another good one. I know some of you don't agree with them but it is a really excellent way to try out the software before purchasing it and finding out it's a dud and you wasted your money.
If anyone knows of a good torrent site please share. I have heard about rapid share but is it worth the money to suscribe?

Hi!!
I guess you are talking about everyone's favorite torrent site mininova, its really sad for us downloaders that the site has now decided to distribute only copyright content and no pirated softwares or movies.I have moved on to other torrent sites like the pirate bay, isohunt and torrentz which are as good as mininova.I mostly use the pirate bay because it is somewhat similar in functionality as mininova and is simpler to use.Rapid share is not a torrent site but you can download large number of files if you are a premium member over there.I would say its worth upgrading at rapid share and becoming a premium member as by that you can download multiple files at a time.Have a good day :)

Does rapid share have a large selection of movies? Movies is what I like to download the most unless I need a software program.
Also I have had problems with some torrent sites seeming to run you around in circles. I am like you and now using pirate bay as my primary site but I would like to find another really good one. If rapid share has a lot of movies then I am seriously considering joining them. Do you have any more opinions?

What about isohunt? I download music and video files from there, for free...

If you want to try software for free or have it for free, download dot com is a very good place and you won't get a virus. If you're just into stealing music I can't help you but download dot come is great for sampling software or getting it for free.

Honestly, I never subscribe to rapidshare, and I just can't afford that monthly fee. I am good with free user, although I have to wait 30 mins or more there to wait for my next download available. Why not also try utorrent, or bittorrent online. You can get a lot more from those P2P fiel sharing too.
