Hi guys!
Merry Christmas! and a happy New Year!
Yesterday we just finish putting our christmas tree and christmas decor.
And I just love to admire the old bearded man..Santa Claus..We have 15 of them...lolz..Some small some are big...All dress in red coat..And it sadden me and happy at the same time..Sadden cause I remember how things are use to me..I remember the old old days..When for me christmas is the best ever..I remember my childhood christmas. Its almost just yesterday. Hanging socks beside the windows. Writing Santa Claus my wishes. Christmas candy..How I wish I can spend a christmas as a seven years old child. How I wish our dad is still alive to celebrate with us.
I stop believing in Santa Claus when my father died..
Cause I know he is my Santa.
Merry Christmas!

I don't know when I stopped believing, but I know why.
My parents joined a very conservative church which didn't like the idea of Santa Claus. Their thinking went like this: "When the kid learns that his parents lied to him about something so important to him as Santa Claus, he might start to wonder if they're lying to him about God." Which seems pretty reasonable to me, since Santa is basically God, Jr.
Anyway, I knew the truth at least as far back as second grade (age seven), but I was under orders not to tell any other kids. I don't know if I was told prior to that or not.
I remember Christmas morning when I was six, because I got my first bicycle, but I cannot recall if I knew it was from my parents or not.

Wow.. That conservative? I'm sorry but I think its over acting. Its does not matter if Santa Claus exist or not it a matter of what he represent.. Its about sharing and love.. (I'm talking about the church banning santa..lolz)
...
Or maybe its not the church itself but the interpretation of your parish preacher..Cause I don't believe that theirs a conservative church that really make a doctrine that parent's must not give an impression of santa being real..

Yeah, Its true.. But its not about or like that Santa Claus is not competing with Jesus. Why does its sound that Santa is a threat to the true meaning of Christmas.
.....
Its like this.
Its dinner time.. theirs an appetizer, main dish, and dessert
Santa Claus is like the appetizer and the dessert.
And Jesus is the main dish.
So its like saying don't let the children eat the appetizer and the dessert only the main dish.
.....
Children are children and they will always be children..
They can't comprehend yet about everything in life..
They just a simple mind.
And the best way to communicate to them is through is to be being childish like Santa...Because that how they can comprehend Christmas.
Sooner or later they grow up and forget about Santa..but does it mean that they reject or forget what Christmas really means..
......
Even Jesus was baptized when He was 30 years old by John the Baptist. And do miracle things after that.
......
Theirs always a right time for everything.

Only until i reached 11 years old when i saw my mom and dad prepared our gifts and put them all in our respective socks placed on top of our mosquito nets. I still have happy thoughts about santa claus and even introduce him to my kids. A big person with big tummy, wearing red, with white beard and have lots of toys. Boys and girls must be good so that santa claus will drop by during christmas eve to give them gifts. so lovely thoughts for me!

Why not. There's fun in it. Santa Claus will always be part of christmas. Santa claus will consistently delight kids. So go ahead, introduce Santa Claus to your future kids! More power to you!

I don't.I still believe that Santa is watching over me.He doesn't necessarily give me His gifts Himself. He sends other people to give His gifts to me.these gifts can be given by my parents or friends. He is still watching over me if I've been naughty or nice.
