| Quantum of Solace -Another Bourne?  | | | |  I watched this movie again to see the Marc Forster direction. 'Quantum of Solace' even though it is the continuing saga of James Bond pursuit of the killers of Vesper in 'Casino Royale',has definitely veered off Bond's traditional approach and tempo to one that has the punchy pace of the Bourne trilogy. Marc's director's hand definitely has made Quantum of Solace as yet another in the Bourne series. As in Jason's Bourne's amnesiac pursue to find himself, so here is Bond's relentless pursue to silence the killers of Vesper. Just as fast paced at the Bourne trilogy, post Quantum Bond movies may yet see the tempo of the Bourne magic embedded in them. What do you think?

| |  Hi jonjee, I have not seen this one either. :) But to be honest, I am not the gizmo fan. I prefer comedies, or mysteries, at the most romantic. Action is simply not my cup of tea. :) By the way, I like movies like Saving Private Ryan, and Guns of Navarone. :) Actual war with historic facts is something I can watch and try to understand. But honestly, artificial stuff including aliens, and the gore is definitely a no no for me. Therefore, I regret I cant comment much on this. :)

| |  I personally liked the fast pace tempo and approach they did with Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale. But let's not forget the difference of character between Jason Bourne and James Bond. While Jason was a well made soldier, the people in charge saw him as a risk, so made it were he couldn't remember who he was. As in with James Bond knows who he is, knows who he works for, and many occasion made M wonder but respect the way James Bond handles his assignments.
