Do you want a key to his apartment?

HI, I listened to the radio this morning regarding about a relationship that a girlfriend wants to have a key to her boyfriend's apartment. I have a thought about it and it seem to be interesting to put on here. well, if you have a boyfriend. Do you want to have a key to his apartment or his house? and why? what the reason make you want to have control in his personal life even you are not married to him yet. For me, I came from a country that full of religion. First, we can't be boyfriend and girlfriend long, we have to get marry soon. Second, if we are not married to anyone then we have no right to come and go in his/her house. Third, we can't take control on someone life if we are not married to each other. Forth, mostly the man has more choice than a woman in married. These are still going on in my country and when I raised up here then I found some are good and some are not good for me. Such as asking my boyfriend for his apartment, it is not one of my type. I dont know why but why would i want to involve in his home, where he loves to keep all his personal life with. If he is ready to give me then I accept with smiling in return. I know most of girlfriends here (usa) want to have it just to see what he has in his house and what he has been hiding from you. For me, pushing someone to do something that they dont like to do then it is not me either. What do you think? is there something wrong with me? What about you? do you think it is good to have one of his key?
