Geek you are right they would have won the war because of the technology they knew about, but hey they stop because Americans were in Germany. Yes I do watch the history channel, love history, but did you know that sputnik was launch by a German scientist working for the Russians, and the reason why NASA put the first man on space was because a German scientist was working for the USA, so if you think about it Germans taught a lot to today's scientist.

i got to tell you I don't know who is "sweets" (i really don't).. but i do believe there had been extensive experimentation during the Nazi germany era in a wide range of fields in the name of Hitler's search for power. Wars especially the world wars always brings about huge spending on technology a lot of new things are created. As i said before, i have come accross a documentary on hovering disks and such but if i remember correctly they didn't go very far. I do believe though that the russian and US army has a lot of hidden weapons. I loved history ever since i was a little kid and it had always been by far my best subject.

they were well ahead but those days have long passed. Germany took a crippling blow after two major world wars. Population suffered greatly and crippling restrictions and surveilance was kept on the two sides of germany seperated by the berlin wall. Although it should be noted that in western germany restrictions were not as great as there was in the 20's and 30's (between the world wars) since this really messed up germany's economy and forced them into the hands of failed parliamentary styled governments and then finally to hitler himeself .Though they are an economic super power now i doubt they have an army anywhere near as advanced as the former cold war super powers. The 40 year long pseudo war really drove the two countries decades above the rest.

Germany was a technologically rich country before the war, After the taking of Berlin the Russians looted thier finest factories taking the machine tooling and optical tooling, Germany produced the best camera optics at one tome, now Russia can turn out the same quality for a pittance.

They lost Wernher von Braun to the Americans too, to help in the space race.
Like You say, years of oppression have probably stunted them, but that's what the English thought after World war one's arms embargo when they surfaced with one almighty airforce.

hey satan one question didn't they bomb all the factories at the end of the war(when they lost) Well am glad these years are gone forever, it will be scary to see all this chaos all over again.

You probably know more about this than me but...the english saw it coming before world war two. Chamberlain was just under pressure to try and keep the peace because nobody wanted another long war so he gave way to concession after concession to germany.

yea cassie, i think there was a concerted effort to take down all the arms factories but i'm not 100% sure how that went. Maybe some things got out. I believe the russians got there first so maybe they found some stuff that we still don't know about. I remember another documentary i saw and they revealed that the russians had hitler's remains or something like that.

you are kidding me, Hitler's remains, woe, that is amazing, correct me if I am wrong, but didn't they say that he committed suicide, you go to tell what is the name of the documentary this stuff just blows my mind. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!

lol i forgot what the documentary was called but it's on on the discovery channel every now and then and is something about secrets or cases. It's about the russian government finally releasing some of their top secret documents and some american professor guy get's to go search their underground vault and he got to study hitler's skull. but yea it was said that hitler and eva braun(sp?) did commit suicide rather than to be killed by allied soldiers. Some say he was just about going crazy and paranoid by then and would hide away in his bunker alone for hours(kind of like stalin and how he was all crazy from all the power and fear of being killed by his close officials)

hey and what about Hitler being addicted to heroin or is this just a rumor.

ok I will keep watching the history channel maybe they will show the documentary here in the States, sorry now I won't be able to stop talking about this subject, I love History. I better get some sleep, and you should too, will talk more tomorrow if I have free time. bye.
