What is and/or are the best movie(s) in 2009????  

Recently I saw 'Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani'. Its a light hearted, romantic movie with a taste of comedy and lovely songs. Its an indian movie with Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Kapoor. I liked the movie, rating 5/5.

among all these movies i like 2012. it is an interesting movie of fiction. the deadline of world.

one of the best movie I've watched this year is Crow Zero 2, japanese movie...even the bad guys are too damn cute (^_^)v

I rarely go to the movies, I just saw New Moon during the midnight showing when it was released. I usually like to wait till movies come out on dvd, and sometimes even wait till they come on tv. I Don't really like a lot of the big screen movies. But for sure I'd have to saw New Moon is the best! I am actually hoping to catch it once more while it's still in theaters. I didn't see Hannah Montana the movie, but I *really* wanted to, just didn't get a chance to. I want to see that at some point, actually, I think I might have put that on my Christmas list... so maybe I will have it to watch in a few weeks. But yea, I pretty much by default have to say New Moon is the best, since it's the only new movie I've seen this year, but I'm sure I would be saying that no matter what movies I saw. I can't wait till it comes out on DVD! I learned that I really am not a going to the movies person, BUT, it was well worth it to see New Moon on the big screen! I also saw Twilight right before that because they had a showing, and I hadn't known about Twilight when it was in theaters. It was really cool to see them both. I will brave the crowds and screaming again in June to see Eclipse as well!

It might be 2012 for best special effect

I really didn't see that many movies, especially in the movie theater. I saw Zombieland in the movie theater, which was hilarious, but I wouldn't put it up as one of the best movies of the year. I'm sure there are many others I would consider better if I had had the chance to see them. I'm planning to see The Blind Side this week, and I imagine it will be one of the best I've seen in a while.

I have seen lots of movies this year thanks to the LAN at my place lol and torrents :).According to me the best movies of 2009 so far have been and I would recommend watching are as follows :
1)The Ugly Truth - Katherine Heigl at her best,light-hearted romantic comedy.
2)Public Enemies - Great story and acting by Johnny Depp,deals with the depression era.
3)Orphan - a psychotic thriller with a mind blowing twist in the climax,must watch.
4)Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince - m a huge harry potter books fan.
5)Inglorious Basterds - Quentin Tarantino is back with a bang.
6)Up - cute animation flick from my favorite Pixar.
7)Pandorum - a science fiction thriller on a spaceship,unique story.

I've watched Twilight and didn't care for it.
I might be watch New Moon because I've read it has some thrills and the special effects are good.
I loved the movie Orphan,,it's a chiller and Isabelle Fuhrman as the orphan is one of the best actress I've seen this year. The story is really great
2012 is not the best sci-fi but action is spectacular.
