Im home alone tonight cuz of the weather.......what can I eat for dinner?  |

|  My hubby is staying by my sister in town tonight due to a HUGE snow storm that is going to hit us shortly. He will never make it home here, we live way out in the country. Now I am wondering what can I make myself for dinner? Im so use to cooking for the two of us. I know there are quite a few people who live alone on here what do you guys usually make for dinner? I would love some suggestions. Please post.

| |  On my own I might make some soup or maybe just a boiled egg and soldiers (toast strips). Maybe an omelette or a stir fry. Depends what you have in of course. Cheese on toast would do me.

| |  if i am alone i generally make spaghetti for myself or pancakes. they are quick and easy and filling and they are both my favourite meals which i could eat pretty much every day! lol.

| |  Wow you are teh second person who I am hearing talk about the storm but I dint have a storm but then I am in a different geographic location .With regards to the dinner I would go with something light like maybe sandwiches and milk or chicken ,bread and juice or soup.Soup would be ideal for the storm though

| |  Hi caroll...Its long past dinner hour and I'm just now reading your post..If you still need some ideas tomorrow, let me know, I'd be glad to share some stuff with you..Hope hubby is warm and safe..Lucky you guys!! I wish it would snow here...Unfortunately we had 83 today,,sure dosen't feel like Christmas..I put up my tree and all my decorations and we are sitting by pool this evening..sigh...the grass is always greener,,ya know?? Let me know about cooking for one..J

| | hi carol30 When I used to fix my own meals I would make my favorite barelli spaghetti plus as it has protein and omega 3 and 6 added. also barelli tomato sauce with garlic,onion and italian meat balls, frozen ones I pop into the sauce to cook for a few minutes and thaw. yummy to the tummy.,and sometimes I would pop a frozen cheese and mac into the microwave as I am a cheese and mac lover from away back. my other favorite is grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, campbells of course.he he. | | | | | | |
