Is that bad? Have you ever been called something nasty recently (it sounds funny to me, but apparently on the other side of the pond it means I'm a snitch)? How did you deal with it? At least I didn't get accused of being Admin. Now that would have been really funny considering I usually can't even get Admin to talk to me.

If it is something that ridiculous, then I just consider the source, laugh, and move on. I think that we should teach them how to properly curse someone out, though. That is a pretty lame attempt, if you ask me. Even my mom could do better than that, and she doesn't swear and usually tries to be nice to everyone!

Either that or an unimaginative one. Perhaps this person is too busy making up stories about other people to put proper thought and creativity into cursing you out. The nerve! If I am going to get cursed out, I at least want it to be done properly so that I know that I am being cursed out.

lol, this sounds like me. I have written to admin 5 or 6 times and only once have they did what I asked and not once have they written back to me. I guess I'm one for one...

I just bet you did, I too as many others here do not know what the meaning of that saying is. I am in the US, and this is just something I've not heard. I've heard many other things that are demeaning to someone, this is a new one for me though. I have read the comments from others and got the idea what it is though.

LOL.. I've seen a lot too, Dawny. But I don't think that you are a snitch anyway. If any words are of a comfort to you, you are one fine lass... And your comments are witty and very so-you. I've not been called an Admin too, so far.. I've yet to get them to reply to me, LOL. But no hard feelings, I know they are busy trying to make this place really happening..awesome.

Goodness me. How unpleasant. I would contact admin for real and complain. At least that way you could snitch with reason. I hope that the person that called you that grows warts in sensitive places and develops halitosis.

Hi Dawn, I never had an experience being tagged as nasty. but i read some hot and heated discussions and responses here. i am just curious why things like this one is happening here? it seems like stressing out some of our mylot members. some are reacting negatively to such discussions. what's up dawn for the weekend? hugs!

I haven't been called nasty names to my face since I was a child - well, since I've been married, so for almost 50 years - but I reckon I had enough then to last a lifetime. The only time I know of that I have been accused of something I didn't do was on yuwie by our mutual friend. He called me many things to many people, but people who know us both didn't believe him. Dawn, we all know you and of course we believe you.

Snitch Chocolate Bar - Choco Blast - Chocolate nougat with rice crispies, coated in rich chocolate.
Also available: Snitch Chocolate Bar - Nutty Caramel
Vanilla nougat layered with yummy caramel and crunchy peanuts, coated in rich chocolate.
From MondeNissin.
LOL! That sounded like a 3 month old seaweed sandwich with lots of green molds on it. All of us are a snitch in some form or other. As law abiding myLotians, we like to keep our community free of evil doers and naysayers. Of course we can never completely weed those out since over time there seems to be one or two popping out. Its up to us to nip those out before they do any real damage. We just want myLot to be a great site with good quality and people who look out for each other. If all members just didnt do anything against the guidelines, then there wouldn't be any "scummy grass" around. Oh and I love Snitch. See photo below.

Now that's the kind of snitch I can relate too! yum... Sure I've reported things on here. We are all within our rights to report violators. But I don't go around snitching on friends. (so there)

It is funny when we don't recognize that we are being insulted. If you let your funny bone loose it kind of takes most of the sting out when someone has to explain it to you. Kind of like when you have to explain a joke. What did you snitch about and to whom? Did it work? It doesn't work for me unless I get really mad and call the boss or the owner.

Well, this is the first time I am responding to your post. But I have seen your responses and I always ROFL. scummy grass, hmm. Let's do one thing Dawn- let's create our own meaning for that. This way, when someone is called scummy grass, it can be a compliment. In this case, scummy grass means adorable and funny. So from one sucmmy grass to another...We rock!

That sounds hilarious to me, too. Where do people come up with these terms? It's obviously an insult, but what on earth is its derivation? Name calling is so juvenile, anyway, it's hard for me to take it seriously. Honestly, some things should be reported, and it seems to me the only people who would find that objectionable are the perpetrators.

Hehe.. that's kinda funny. As far as being accused of being ADMIN, I wouldn't care if someone did. I'm not, but why would it matter if I was? And if I was, I would ADMIT IT, not pretend I wasn't ha ha ha. I truly believe that perception is 90% of someone's reality, and of course if their perception is WRONG, that means someone is actually living in la la land. Far be it from me to boot them out of it.

Hey dawn! How very interesting! Now what could you possibly have done to deserve that name? I've never known you to be a snitch! You are always honest and straightforward, but not a snitch! And certainly not Admin either! Do you need us to round up the possy and knock somebody out for you? Just point me in their direction and I'll be more than happy to kick some butt!

lol, I know how you feel, once I was called a mean cold b*** (as in female dog)... that made me laugh because the guy had tears in his eyes.... He called me this because i played a song better than he did. The way I dealt with that was a good laugh. I know who I am and where I stand, so when people call me names it never gets to me.
