i know... sometimes I feel the same way. I never use Mypoints... but I used to use that site to exchange my points to some other gift card. I hate when this happened. why dont you treat it to something else and then cash it back out? or keep it for the large amount and it might be good

i love love love that site. I have gotten so many gift cards from there! i don't shop walmart cause they don't have any here in NYC... but if i was you, i would still use the mypoints site. why don't you cash out for a toys r us card instead. it's a great site and a wonderful way to earn free gift cards. i so would not stop using it only because they don't have walmart any more.

Hopefully MyPoints will have them again soon. Sometimes I think they don't show up if MyPoints has run out of a particular merchants gift cards. I'd check back from time to time to see if WalMart reappears. Or, you can just e-mail MyPoints Admin and ask about it. I'm sure they will let you know why.

I just was in there the other day and noticed same thing, I was so upset because I planned on using those points for a couple of movies for the kids stocking. I am like you and not really sure what other gift card i would want to go with now that walmart is gone. I would just continue with mypoints because these gift cards are still nice to get and you never know they may bring the walmart cards back. I wish there would of been a notice explaining that they were going to take them walmart cards away. I am just going to continue to build up my points and have been going to the sites that are offered and see what site I might like better to cash in my points with.....

Wow. That surprises me. I got a Walmart gift card just a few months ago. But yes you're right, they aren't offering Walmart gift cards anymore. I went to the website too. Would you have been able to get the gift card to your house before Christmas anyway? Can any of the gifts you want be purchased at Walgreens or Kmart? I know Walgreens has a limited inventory, but they have plenty of toys. I don't have a Kmart near me, but maybe you do?

That really sux... I would hate that too. I use Walmart a lot too, but I also use Target. I wouldn't be interested in anything other than those two... not even KMart.. because we don't have one near us.. I can appreciate your frustration. Depending on the kinds of gift cards you can get.. would determine if I stayed there or not.. if you got Amazon vouchers or something like that might work for you... hope you can spend your points somehow.

WHAT??????? We gotta team up and storm mypoints until they give us back the Walmart gift cards. I, too, only cashed out my points for the Walmart cards cause it's most convenient place and cheapest for me to shop. When I'm ready to cash out, I'm gonna have to browse and see what else they have to offer. You sure you can't buy from somewhere else for your kids using your points? LLBean for instance?

I noticed that just the other day as well. I am about 15 points shy of getting a $25 Target card, so I guess that is what I will cash mine out for. I have only ever cashed out my points there once before and I got a Walmart card then.

Won't they also send you a check? You might find a good deal at one of the other places too. You could make up a play gift card and give it to them.Then when you get the money give it to them. If My Points stopped offering gift cards from them it must be for some good reason and another store must give them a better deal. You might check into that fascet of this. Better deals elsewhere that is.

Hey camomom I am pretty new here.So I might not be the best person to give you any sort of advice.But just to clear my doubt,cant we just cash out instead of opting for a gift card.I think they both are of the same worth or are they not.
