Media Sting Operations  

Hi!!
Yeah if they try to expose the bad people in the society then its well and good but doing it just to malign someone's image is unacceptable.I remember a sting operation where the media had sent a girl to meet Gujarat's chief minister Narendra Modi and the girl/woman started making physical advances to him but since the minister is a nice person he immediately shooed away the lady but the sting was totally uncalled for and they were trying to malign the image of a nice person.The media needs to understand their responsibility while doing such operations.

I wholly agree with you,the media needs to stop acting foolish and try to showcase the real faces of the person who are actually bad and not try to make up stories just to defame an individual and garner some cheap publicity and TRPs.It has been proved that many of the sting operations were faked up by the media just to survive the competition with other news channels.The fourth estate really needs to do serious thinking about this and start following true journalism.Thanks for your response :)

Actually now I feel that media acts like a profitable business. And making stunt and gimmick is now the strategy of the media. Many time new are created and presented. And do you know new need to create and present. New is to publish. And the artistic presentation stray away the news from the proper views. And many time news are analyze in wrong way. Misinterpretation of news to make it breaking new loose its proper value. By this way media play with the emotion of the people.

Yeah you're right.You know just a week back a senior journalist claimed that many of the newspapers and media channels take money form the leaders to write good or talk good things about them and bad mouth the other party leaders.Some of the politicians have agreed to doing this and they say that they had no options as the opposite party worker was doing the same and if they didn't do anything ultimately they would lose the elections due to a bad image created by the media.

Earlier it was said that politics is the last salter of the scoundrels.

But judging the present situation of the socioeconomic situation of the modern world it is likely to be said that we have think little more on the different activities of socioeconomic establishment of the present world. Values are ignored in may sector. Earlier those sectors are considered as respected profession. But the politicization of every sector is the cause this devaluation.

Yeah I totally agree with you,the Fourth Estate is degrading day by day which was once considered as the voice of common man in the previous days to fight against injustice.But today the press needs money to raise their voice from the opposition party to show the wrong doings of the other party.
