I just wanted to share a true story with all of you.. 2 years ago my husband was out of work from sept- feb due to a back injury.. Dec 11th he had back surgery, on Dec 13th i gave birth to our 2nd and 3rd child, TWINS! i was always so stressed because we had a then 8 year old daughter who is simply wonderful and we couldnt really give her the christmas she deserved... That year my sister and her husband came over 3 days before christmas and handed me 2 huge boxes and said they were to be opened on christmas eve and i would know what to do with them.... Christmas eve came and i was overfilled with emotions... I spent a little while crying as i looked into the boxes.. they were christmas gifts "from Santa" not only for my children but for my husband and i as well....
Then last christmas in October my husband got hurt at work, but told them that it happened off the job out of pride ( hes a clutz seriously) and didnt want to get harraseed for hurting himself at work AGAIN so an injury that he thought was only a out of work a few days injusry actually kept him out of work 12 weeks.. with NO income at all coming in! We had a tiny 2 foot christmas tree on a table, we put the last of our money 4months earlier into purchasing our home, i sold off alot of our belongings to get our children presents, AGAIN my sister helped us out this time she signed us up for toys for tots as well as gathered up some donations to purchase us gifts..
This year this year we arent so bad off things are finally starting to come to gether for us.. i started shopping in june seeing things on clearance that i knew my children would like or when there were really good deals throughout the year.. Well when it all came down to gathering up what i had and waht i needed to get to be prepared for the holdiays we have car trouble... put $500 into my husbands car because my van needs over $1000 worth of work, went for a drive and was stranded on the side of the highway in a down pour while my husband pushed the car 2 miles to have to stop 1/2 mile before exat due to road work.. now we have no vehilce no money and i still needed things at home.. Well this past sunday my younger sister and her boyfriend came over with a surprsie for my children.. a christmas tree a real christmas tree.. It was beautiful definalty not something i would have picked out but beautiful all the same... it brought tears to my eyes i blubbered like a baby...
These thoughts and kindness of my family is what i believe christmas is about, ( not because i was on the recieving end either) its a time for togeterness, sharing, kindness and caring... I am so grateful for family like this in my life, not just at christmas but eeryday of the year...
One day i WILL return then gesture.. the kindness i hope someday soon i can be the one to help them out..

I wish I could find some of those kinds of people. I tend to attract just the opposite kinds of people in my life. I hate it. I am a caring person but it is so hard to find people like me.

Im sure that you have people like this around you, im sure times are tough, but its when you really see ahead and belive that there is no hope left that they will come out brightly and shine on you.. Good things happen to those who wait and bad things always happen to good people.. god bless and take care
