We have a cat as a pet at home. And often he is visited by some astray cats. These cats will try to hurt him or play with him--we don't really have any idea. But it always makes us mad when we hear our cat cry. So, we tend to scare those astray cats away. My father and brother would usually throw a stone at them. We don't really like it when someone, even other pets, is trying to hurt our cat. No body messes with our Miming!!!!

If your cat is male. And theres a female cat in your vicinity and that is normal. Cats fight for their rights for the female to mate. It's your cat's nature to defend his territory thats why you will have more of that happening in your neighborhood.
But if your cat's a female. I have no idea.

The closest that our dogs have to an enemy is the next door neighbor. LOL. When we first moved into our house a few months ago, there were some places in the fence that the dogs realized that they could get out of. Well, the neighbor was constantly knocking on my door to inform me that either Michela or Jasmine had gotten out of the yard. She said that she was afraid that her dog would attack ours, but I'm not really sure, they never said any harsh barks to each other.

Hahaha. That was so funny. I think your neighbors must have been imagining things or sort of trying to avoid your dog. Glad I haven't encountered that kind of situation with our cat :)

Hi invisible!
It is really sad to hear that your pet cat is being harmed and other stray cats try to intimidate your pet. I think you need to take better care of your pet and can build her some fence type structure, if possible, so tha other could not come and disturb her. You need to scare others stray cats, in whatever way it is possible.

Yeah, we really do. I hate those stray cats. Grrr! Our cat is not a fighter. Even if he is a male cat, he doesn't fight. He just hide and cry... That's what makes us angry.

My advice is to keep your cat indoors as much as possible. Its a good bet those cats that bother your pet are strays, but there is an off chance they aren't. In the event they aren't strays, then you could be reported for abbusing someone else's pet because they let the animal rome around which is perfectly fine.
We don't really have a problem because our pets are indoor animals. They can stair out the window, all they want and they are protected because other animals can't get in. and, our cats love the window and are perfectly contented with just the window.

Wow.. That's so cute.. I could imagine that scene on my mind. Our cat loves roaming around our compound. We don't let him inside the house. He has a house of his own outside.

My dog is absolutely terrified of some of the cats and dogs in the neighborhood. Whenever she seems one of them, she always pulls me to the opposite side of the street. I just let her do it, I figure that's better than having a big confrontation. As long as she doesn't get hurt I don't care. Cheers!

Yeah... I bet your dog is kind of scared. That's how our cat is. She always hide whenever the other cats come to our home. We are only terrified when we hear him crying. That's when we get nasty and scare the other cats away.

My dog is also terrified of other animals, but if an old person walks by she wants to rip into them. It's rather weird.
My best friend has a cat who thinks everyone and everything is her enemy. She's psycho really.

Hahahaha. LOL. that is funny. Our cat is different because he doesn't want to fight with anyone. He just cry when other cats are attacking him.
