|  My grandmother always said that when a love one passed on and there was a pregnant woman in the family the baby would be the same sex as the loved one that passed on.
do you think that is true, why or why not?

| |  my wife believes that our daughter is in fact her mother reborn.She does find certain traits in our daughter that were there in her mother.I do not believe that this is plausible but the belief is something that cannot really be dislodged from one's mind and as long as it is not harmful one should not try too hard as it will hurt the person concerned.

| |  Fights? I think that this is a Old Wive's Tale for sure. I think that it did happen afew time and so someone came up with the idea. It may happen occasionally but only if Fate deems it so. If the soul needs to stay close to the family for some reason then this may happen. Not very often though.

| |  Hi. I have not heard of this tale before. So for question #1, I really don't know if possible. I'm still trying to think of any past experiences which I could relate to this tale. For question #2, I think it's similar to the theory of "reincarnation" wherein a person's soul enters/re-live in the body of a newborn baby. But I think a soul may be reincarnated in anybody even if not a relative. As for the common traits/habits among relatives, I believe it's more of genetic and not really reincarnation.

| | I do not know about this, but I would like to mention an incident in my life. When my son was born, 20 years ago, he was very sick, and we had a lot of problems in bringing him up, he was always sick, and we thought we might loose him. One evening my grandmother blessed him, and said let him take all my years, and let him live till my age, she must have been about 78 years. The next morning she passed away,the death was quite sudden, one minute, she was standing, and the next minute, she fell down, and just died.Of course she died a very happy woman, because she wanted to see a great Grandson, and she was able to see him, and put him on her shoulders. My sons illness went away, and he is studying in a college now.
So, it is just a matter of belief, that I think she is somewhere out there, looking after us. | | | | | | |
