I Finally Got A Computer!  

You have to be observant on buying used computer. Conditions should be like this.

1. The first thing are scratches. Prices are more expensive when it is scratchless.

2. The second thing is warranty. It could be a week or even 3 days to test it out. Don't forget to get his contact and ask where he can be found.

3. Look if it has complete package and if not, ask him for a lower price.

4. Compare the condition with the same product but different seller and choose who got a good deal.

* A good deal is where you(consumer) and the seller is happy with the transaction so if you are not happy, it will never be a good deal :D

I think you buy what you can afford and hope for the best. I am lucky enough that I have two great nephews who built my computer and it has been exactly what I needed for my personal use. They talked to me about what I did on my computer and set it up just for those things. So if I wanted to use it to play a lot of games they may need to upgrade some things, but I use it to write and pay bills.

They think I need a lap top because I am always carrying around pen and paper, but there is much to be said for pen and paper. They have not convinced me yet.

Congratulations on your new computer! Hey, if you don't do any complicated work, and you just use the computer for browsing, and sending emails, I think a used computer is as good as a new one. Of course, it is great if you get with the latest technology. But if your needs haven't changed, then a used and cheaper one will do fine.

I refuse to buy used espically when it comes to computers. Used computers come with where and tear that newer modles don't have. It is for this reason that they tend to break a little more faster, because there is no telling what the previous owner did. And when a computer is repaired no telling how strong it will be because the same power will have to go through it despite how "new" the parts are.

Newer is better because those tend to be stronger and a lot less worn.
