LEGOS Maker Looses His Mind  

That better be some huge, amazing, gigantic lego set for darn near $100! That seems ridiculous to me. Toys have gotten INCREDIBLY expensive, that's for sure, and it's not just the Legos. My little, 7 year old sister really wants this vet barbie (as in veterinarian) and this bicycle barbie..And both of those were over $50 each. For a little piece of plastic. It's astounding. I have such a hard time spending a lot of money on toys during the holidays.. because as an adult, and someone who KNOWS kids (just from being one herself), I know that they're going to either end up losing it or phasing out of liking it about a week after you spend your hard-earned money on it. *sigh*.

That is crazy. I think legos have gotten more and more expensive and I'm not quite sure why. When I was growing up, I don't remember them being so expensive and I had quite a few of them. Now, gosh I wouldn't buy them for anyone! I'd buy the off brand of Legos.

We made the mistake of buying my son a couple of years ago, one of those big sets that cost around a hundred dollars. It was for a Christmas present, and we were in Oregon(where there are no taxes!). He was, and still is, into the Star Wars thing. It was a big spacehip that took us (me and him, as I also enjoyed building it) about 4 days to build.
Well, my point is, during those 4 days where we were building it, it was worth every penny.
Now, I am not too sure. The spaceship is half broken in pieces and sitting in a box, in his room mixed with all his other lego blocks.
