Webcams are a great way to make Internet communication more personal. To start video conferencing, video chatting or even broadcasting events live over the Internet, you don't need to own a webcam. Many digital cameras cannot only function as a webcam, but function better than most designated webcams.
Well, I really want to use my digital camera as a webcam. But, don't know how to.
I have a Kodak Z1015 IS. I wanted to know weather it will be possible to use it as a webcam.

| |  That is very interesting to see the possibility. I read the link, and yes you got a view on your posting at ehow.com from me :) so I liked your idea and effort A+ on that from me LOL, see is true each camera manual does state so if its useful as a webcam, and is true too I think one can adapt it. The thing about it using it with the power adapter may not necessarily be an option, like on my cam. The adapter is mainly to charge the battery only not to power the cam.

| |  I am not savvy in the upper end use of computers. I know about web cams. But no, I do not know that digital cameras can do all that as a web. You may need to consult an expert besides browsing the net for solutions.
