I think it was..as it should have been,he definitely qualifies as royalty in the world of hockey! And he was one of the greates hockey warriors ever. There is a story that Mickey Redmond tells every year about a player that got hit so hard on the ice it knocked him silly..the coach sent the trainer out to see of he was okay.
The trainer comes back and tells the coach the guy isn't hurt, but he's not sure who he is. The coach tells the trainer.."Tell him his name is Gretsky, and put him back out there" I love that story.

That story might have been a Harry Neale story. Harry is a great story teller. He had so many quotable quotes but right now, I can't remember any.

anybody that can do their job on a thin piece of steel on ice while 4 large guys are chasing you with sticks heading you towards a wall and a big piece of glass, should be able to hold his own with an entertainer.
