Advertising your sites. What have you discovered works best?  |

|  I have a couple of sites that I try to advertise.
Mainly it's my Zazzle site because I try to get as much traffic to my store.
I Use a TE -Hitsboosterpro and a couple others It helps get my product in a number one position on the Zazzle site.. ex. If I search for one of the items that I put in my rotation -for this example my "I'm just Sayin'" t-shirt a good seller of mine.
It pops up first on the page when I type in "just sayin'"
Call me slow -but I just realized that my use of the TE has had this effect on my merchandise.. LOL
So I made a few other colors and put them in my rotation too. So now my shirts will pop up first..
Anyway. I don't know if the TE actually helps by increasing my sales. Unfortunately there is no way of knowing where your sales that are referred are generated FROM.
So it is still worth it for me to use the TE's.
But I am wondering if anyone else has a similar type of situation and what kind of advertising they use. ???
I also Try real hard to advertise My BigCrumbs site on my TE.. But it hasn't generated any referrals (they do have a system set up so you know where your referrals sign up from- very helpful!)
So far I've only found referrals by "word of mouth" so to speak. from friends Here at mylot and on my facebook page and personal friends of mine.
This is a hard one to advertise because just putting the page in rotation doesn't tell surfers the potential of this site..
What other ways have you found that help you get referrals.. Other sites like mylot? Or just placing banners? I have a blog- but I don't think it generates much traffic and I don't update it often..
Any ideas would be helpful.. Thanks

| |  ways to advertise are there but best is to speak with people, make them understand.
Nobody believes if u just give banner ads or just post payment proof, first befriend with people & them talk with them, best way & everytime works.

| | Well, I don't know about EVERY time.. But that does seem to be the only way I have gotten referrals for BigCrumbs.
I do however Have an increase in My Zazzle sales this year.. And I don't know if my sites being in a traffic exchange are helping that or not..
As a matter of fact As I typed this discussion I just sold another shirt.
All it tells me is that the person was referred. But not how or from who.. It is possible the person came thru someone elses site and then surfed and found my item which she purchased.. If that is the case, the other person will then earn a referral fee for the sale.
But if it is through my TE -I have no way of knowing -if this is increasing my sales.
I guess I will just continue doing what I am doing. | | | |

| |  The best way i found to advertise my site is by submitting my url on most search engine this gives me a passive visitors compares to doing some traffic exhcange

| |  Try advertising at Revbux or Pplinx on the Paid to Read or paid to sign up section I have alot of good response from this two sites plus revbux has it double order promo until december 25 better take advantage of it if your not yet a member. or last if you want to advertise for free try safelist- I could recommend as my top choice "adzquik" you can view the banners on my profile if your interested. goodluck.

| | these 3 sites are free to join. revbux and pplinx are ptc sites have the same owner and admin online since 2008. you have to pay for the ads of course. but at adzquik you can post your ads for free. but you have to click ads also | | | |

| |  The most successful way of advertising that I still believe until now is to having a good blog.Post quality article on your blog about your site and let the Google Search do all the work.Next is to make a video and upload it to youtube,and post your site links in the video description.The more popular your video is,the more traffic you will get.Hope this works to you too.

I have no clue how to make a video.. _ I tried some site once but after messing around for 2 days I was nowhere close to a complete video..

| | That would be awesome.. I am a total newb.. when it comes to making web pages and stuff. I have been thinking about getting a domain name (it was suggested to me for better ease of getting my BigCrumbs referrals) But I thought of the webpage too..
I just mentioned to my Roommate that I have Comcast(internet) and one of their freebies is a webpage.. but I have no Idea how to set it up.. This weebly is probably(hopefully) easier..?
And where do you get these safelists, and do yo direct them then pack to your new webpage?
I really do need to do something more - I got a couple of great sites- I just need to get them out there. :-)
