This is a cute shot of my granddaughter, Savanna.
She seemed to love the wrapping and bows better than her gifts.
This bow came off the Wii we bought them all.
She held this bow for a good 30 minutes it seemed.
Do your kids like the bright big bows better than the gifts too?
Do you wrap your gifts fancy like at all?

oh she is a real cutie!
i think she is more fascinated on colorful ribbons than what is inside those wraps
and i think kids are just like that..they are more attracted and interested on the first things they see...and that one is the ribbon.
for adults, i think what's inside is more important but giving time to prepare a very nice wrap means we dearly mean our gifts inside

Often enough young children delight more in the box, the wrapping or the decoration. I know that a bow must look really appealing to most toddlers. My oldest son, Ryan, spent many moments playing with the box instead of the toy when he was a child. My toddler son has a piece of wrapping paper that can keep him amused for half an hour. I like to wrap my family members presents in paper and have a label saying who the gifts belong to. For special events like an 18th birthday I add more decoration. Merry Christmas my friend Grandpa Bob.

When my kids were little they, too, loved the wrappings! I like to wrap presents with ribbons and bows but this year I had to ship them all and just wrapped as the bows and stuff would be crushed. Wrapping is a lot of fun for me!

I am pretty plain with my wrappings lately. I still see the grand girls playing some with the wrapping. It is bright, shiny, different and light weight. I bet Savanna is growing like a weed.

na I just used to wrap them up in wrapping paper nothing special at all. The kids just torn the paper anyway to get at the gift as fast as they could do it.

Hey Grandpa Bob! Savanna sure has grown up alot since last
Christmas! I guess a Wii wouldn't thrill her yet since she
has no idea what it is! So I guess a big beautiful red bow
would probably be a much better present as far as she's
concerned! What a little doll she is!

Awww bless her she looks so cute. Thats the same as my eldest daughter she has opened a few pressies so far as she has a fair bit from everyone and otherwise we will be unwrapping for the whole of Christmas day and boxing day and probably the day after too! But she does seem more interested int he boxes and paper than the gift! But its cute

She is so adorable. Yes kids are like that they like shinny things alot. We always have something brighter to wrap and most of the time my nephews and necices keep the gift and wrappin paper with them. There are so many things in the market these days. Even th wrapper to put your gifts in are the fancy ones and can be reused
