Lol, cute discussion! I used to believe that babies were in stores to be sold lol. Actually my mom told it to me and she also said that baby boy was more pricy. Then when I got a little older, I thought babies were there because the mother consumed too much food that made her belly big. Lol

You know, now that you bring it up I don't remember thinking about it one way or another. I was 5 when my sister was born and I guess I thought mom just picked her up somewhere while she was gone....LOL I guess I thought they just magically appeared or something.

when I was almost 4 my mother had my little sister. I knew that babies came from mommy's tummy. I also looked around and all the kids had mommies and daddies, and mommy did all the work - and I was the potential "mommy" material so... I figured that if I stayed away from potential "daddies" I would be able to not have a baby - because I did not want to end up doing all the work - well, it WAS 1957 after all... Hey, it worked like a charm! I stayed away from guys and I am now baby free! well, I have my cat babies, but they get past the "diaper" part pretty quick...

Hi, snowy22315. I always thought that it came from the stork bird. I would see pictures of a white stork carrying a bundle in its beak. I honestly thought that there was a baby wrapped up inside of this. But as I have gotten older, I knew that babies came from a man and a woman. That was funny about a baby being ordered from a Sears catalog.. I have never heard of this one.

Hey I never think about where did I come from seriously. I just thought I'm the baby that my parent was made hehe. People would tell the little child that she was picked up form the garbages, or she was taken from the boats. That's the old trick to play with the little child to make them cry out loud. lol
