It seems like I remember hearing about Jill Ireland passing away of cancer. I sure didn't know that Charles Bronson died of pneumonia after having alzheimer's, though. That is so sad. He was a good actor. Alzheimer's is such a terrible disease. My mother had this and not only is it hard on the victim, it's also hard on the caregivers. I had a bookstore from 1984 to 1986 and we rented movies and vcrs as well as sold books. We had a lot of Charles Bronson movies. I've seen The Great Escape but not The Magnificent Seven. Kathy.

Yes, I saw Death Wish series, and I always though Charles Bronson was cool. I dont really fancy Rambo action as much, though I do find Schwarzenegger's Terminator watchable even today. I prefer Schwarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop. May be I like it all humorous and silly. :)

Jill Ireland and Charles Bronson made a good pair in movies.
They complimented each other very well in movies. I liked them in Villa Rides!, a gritty tale of Pancho Villa who was a Mexican Revolutionary and Bronson played his second commander. I also enjoyed Bronson in the The Great Escape.
He was a great actor doing those rough guy roles.

I kind of thought that Bronson was a Mexican in real life because he had that
Latino look and later found out that he is actually of Lithuanian decent after reading
his bio. His real name is Buchinskas.

I did not know Jill was married to McCallum. So sad that she died young.
She was very glamorous.
