There are some people who pray by kneeling, others bow their head while others raise hands up and bow the grounds. There are people who pray by reading certain kind of prayers, while other pray by their hearth and speak to God directly. How about you, how do you pray, where do you pray? do you pray anywhere, church or in your room?

hi careguarden,
I usually pray anywhere, like on my mind. It doesn't matter if i'm on the road or in a bus, I pray whenever I want to talk with Him. But in church, I usually kneel and pray to Him.

I do the same thing as well. I pray wherever I am and whatever I do. Because I believe that God is always with me. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy the rest of the week!

I am a Muslim and we have different type of Prayers/Worships/Praising.
1. The main form of worship, the main prayer 'Salat': Which is a specifically arranged combination of standing towards the direction of Ka'aba in Mecca, bowing, prostrating, Pledging, praising, asking, reciting Quran.
^ There are 5 obligatory 'Salat' daily, and there are recommended and optional 'Salat' as well.
2. Normal prayer for asking/seeking help: This can be done anywhere anytime, it can be in any language, but there are some preference to the Arabic prayers prescribed by God/Prophet Mohammad/Other prophets.
In this it is better to face towards Ka'aba-Mecca, raise both of our hands, start with praising God and praying for blessing Prophet Mohammad. Then we ask for forgiving sins, for better life here and hear after, to make our family better, to cure our disease, to get rid of some problems, to make us enter in Paradise etc.
3. Short Prayers.
There are lot of prayers and praising prescribed to do on several events.
eg. While locking and leaving home "Bismillah, Thawakkalthu Ala -Allah" (In the Name of Allah, I put trust of care on Allah)
While start eating "Bismillah" in the name of Allah(God)
While entering Mosque: "Allah-umma-iftah lee abwaba rahmatika" , Oh Allah, open the doors of your mercy for me.
4. Praising
This is praising God with his names of qualities and prescribed praising for a number of times.
5. following the guidance of God is considered as a form of worship, the other worships include Fasting and pilgrimage.
May Almighty God guide us to the right path.
Peace.
