Greed, jealousy and selfishness keeps increasing in corrupted politicians. These politicians are the dangerous elements in a civilised country. Let us influence the younger ones with good examples at home and in our immediate circle of friends. There will be a difference in the future if the parents guide their children properly and try to instil proper values in them from childhood.

hi meapas, proper values are also going to the wind, parents are now behind the degrees/education and their earnings after the education only,no body is there to teach all good things to their children, people also become selfish, untill unless the people change their attitude regarding money, then we expect a good thing to us,have a nice day

Let us do our duty. Let us influence others by our work. This might have its effects on others. Best of luck.

Nobody can save India until and unless we ourselves wake up and be determined not to vote any of these political parties to power. Tata Tea was running a campaign urging people to go out and vote and now Gujarat has also made voting compulsory…here in mylot too, a few friends and me had long discussions on voting…while they all say that we should vote to save india, I think we should NOT vote if we want to save india. I really wish there was a forum or platform or a party of people who could send an ultimatum to these political parties that we would not vote until and unless all the corrupt politicians are expelled! Or maybe there could be a PIL as to how such tainted people can carry on such high public offices! Or maybe there could be an apolitical signature campaign against corrupt politicians, forcing their parties to expel them….if there is any such campaign, I would like to join it. But I don’t think there is any such movement making the people aware of the corruption in our political party or maybe the people have become immune to such scandals…its our chalta hai attitude that is the slow poison killing us regularly.

Political parties never had any values either before independence or after independence. So, there is no point asking this question. Have you ever heard that politicians had any values at all over the years? They never had any values. This is not the first time something like this has happened. This has happening for a long time. There is no point pondering over these things. If the foolish citizen is willing to vote for such people, obviously they will come into power. Stop voting them to power, then the parties won't support such criminals. We are the ones who should stop this from happening, but we don't.

It is mainly because of the MONEY, POWER and FAME these things are common with the political party. BJP, CONGRESS and any other party for that sake is money and power minded. 1. BJP's power is gripping out slowly and hence in order for it to recoup with certain powers, it decides to support SOREN as CM of Jharkhand since they can be in power sharing. The congress party which once was supportive of Soren is now against them 2. This is the traditional way of congress to follow such a kind of activity in order to remain in poewer and unfortunately BJP is following that now. But this is what politics is all about and we need to bear this with a grin face, DEMOCRACY is at stake in the World's Largest democratic country. Caste based reservation system, giving extended privilige to minority section, bringing in corrupt personalitites to power- all makes sure that India is going nowhere. It's time that one strong leader takes over the power and brings in some justice and law. May be lets hope for a strong and true military ruler to take care of our country soon. Have a great day and happy Mylotting. Cheers:-)

Hi yugasini, well - once in power, they get monies under the table! (bribes). The amounts are not small. So that is the reason they are all power hungry. We are helpless. We need to stand up collectively, just like the Telangana agitation to get an issue based politics in place rather than party based politics. Once that happens, there will be less of horse trading, and automatically bribes will start coming down. But to be fair, the system is also responsible. :( Suppose you had 1000, and the demand before you was for 1000000000, divided into several pieces of 100000. Now whom would you select? If you select one, the other person feels some injustice has been done. At times, there are so many files, and so little time to take a decision on. In view of all this, the politician possibly feels forget all that, let me pocket the 1000, and close the chapter. LOL.

I like having friends. :) When I participate in their discussions, I come to know how they think, and they come to know how I think. That is how friendships are formed, isn't it? :) Hope you can make up for the time lost. :) Have a good day. :)

We have the same problem in our American government. Our "elected leaders" forget what they promised or even said during the campaign season just as soon as they are elected. They go back to their own agenda's and keeping promises to people who have promised them money in return for their favors and support. They immediately forget the people that elected them and put them in office; those people's best interests and needs are no longer important to them. It is simply greed and corruption, and I am afraid that it will only get worse before it gets better.

God PLEASE really save India from the Rathores, Sorens,Tiwary`s and scores and scores of the corrupt politicians and bureacrats who are trying to run and ruin this beautiful country. I wish there was some special disease which could strike and eliminate corruption and corrupt politicians and people from the face of this country.Unfortunately all these persons who call themselves are leaders are in truth dealers who are in this profession only to make a fast buck at the expense of the public. People are paying taxes out of their earnings and these shameless people are frittering away the hard earned money by leading lavish lives. god alone knows how much these crooks have stashed away in Swiss banks and other tax free countries.Iff all the ill gotten wealth of these people is brought back to the country it can be used for the welfare of the general public. Now a new President has been elected in the BJP. Hope he can do something to revitalise the party and restore it to the days when Vajpayee was the PM.Not only BJP but also all the parties have lost all the values which they should have had.Unfortunately there is no person of Vajpayees stature who can save this country from disaster.
