New Instant Messangers?  

as regards messangers there are much it depends hich one you like more..normally you use more messanger than other depending how much friends or people ar there and so you cna interact easely!!fOR EXMPLE I know really few people using yahoo messanger s but almost al cna use msn so for that in may cases i can use it as well!!I think that even the birth of messangers as nimbuzz or frings for mobile where normally collect a big amount of contacts of different network as msn,icq,google talk,yahoo,facebook and so on...can be useful if you want high compatibility with different networks in 1 place!!

Google talk, a messenger with built in video and audio support and free G.Mail as well, the window is'nt as pretty as msn but it works great and another Mail address has got to come in really handy.

There is also skype. I use it all the time. You can either type or actually talk. It has video as well. The reception on the audio is better, in my opinion, than yahoo or msn and, I am not constantly being dropped like I was on those two.

i dont know if you use myspace. well they have a new myspaceim. it works aslo with skpe. they have alot more cool emotioncons, and backgrounds for your im and the way ur im looks when some one writes you and you write them.the skype feature is not bad either being that already have it on my laptop.

ya why not skype is the most preferable for the video chatting .the clarity of video is better than yahoo,when we consider gmail it is better to use for official purpose

there are alot of newer messengers. have you tried out using skype. it really works well for chatting. i really like it because you can do many things like video hat and so much more! it is really pretty cool. you should get it and check it out.

Google talk is the best and i use it often.

Not really that I know of! There's BBM, which I just discovered (even though I've had a blackberry for about ~2 years), and it's Blackberry Messenger, and you can IM without using texts over your phones. I think this is kind of cool, even though the fact that I have unlimited texts kind of defeats the purpose!
